Dues Cancellation. An employee may cancel their payroll deduction of dues by the employee providing written notice to the Union and the Union subsequently providing written notice to the Employer of the cancellation. After receipt of the confirmation from the Union, every effort will be made to make the cancellation effective on the first payroll and not later than the second payroll after receipt of the notice.
Dues Cancellation. An employee may cancel his or her payroll deduction of dues by written notice to the University and the Union. The cancellation will become effective on the second payroll after receipt of the notice. However, the cancellation may cause the employee to be terminated, subject to 9.2.1.a and 9.2.2.a, above.

The cancellation will become effective on the second payroll after receipt of the confirmation from the Union that the terms of the employee’s signed payroll deduction authorization card regarding cancellation have been met. Teamsters Local 117 will enforce the year-to-year maintenance of dues requirement only for those employees who signed one (1) of the payroll deduction authorization cards entitled:
1. “COMMITTED TO EACH OTHER – FAMILY, STRENGTH, COMMUNITY”;
2. “YOUR VOICE, YOUR UNION Your Membership in Teamsters 117”; or
3. Any card subsequently issued by Teamsters Local 117. Any employee who signed any earlier card, including the card entitled “PAYROLL DEDUCTION FORM Teamsters Local Union No. 117,” will only be required to notify Teamsters Local 117 of their request to cancel their dues deduction, unless the employee has subsequently signed a card listed in 1-3 above. If the Union receives such notification, confirmation will promptly be sent to the Employer that the terms of the employees’ signed dues authorization card regarding cancellation has been met.
Dues Cancellation. Union members requesting to rescind membership and membership rights in their union shall make such request in writing to PSE in accordance with the terms and conditions of the authorization. Providing such terms and conditions have been met, PSE shall notify the University in writing that the employee has cancelled their authorization for dues collection. The University will end dues deduction no later than the second payroll after receipt of the notice from the Union that the employee has revoked authorization.

The cancellation will become effective on the second payroll after receipt of the notice. However, the cancellation may cause the nurse to be terminated, subject to Subsection 3.1.E of this Article.
Dues Cancellation. An employee may cancel their payroll deduction of dues by providing written notice to the Union in accord with the terms of the authorization. The Employer will end dues deduction no later than the second payroll after receipt of the notice from the Union that the employee has revoked authorization. PSE will indemnify, defend and hold the Employer harmless against any claims based on the Employer’s compliance with this Article and any issues related to the deduction of dues and fees.
Dues Cancellation. Employees may cancel their membership in the Association at any time subject to the employee completing the dues cancellation form. Any employee who elects not to pay dues will not be a member of the Association.
