Deduction of Dues and Fees. 9.1 The Tulare County Office of Education will deduct from the monthly paycheck of each employee the dues of the Association as authorized in writing by the employee on the Tulare County Office of Education form. Such deduction will be submitted to CTA, Burlingame.
9.2 Any unit member who is a member of the Tulare County Office of Education Teachers' Association, CTA/NEA, or who has applied for membership, may sign and deliver to the Tulare County Office of Education an assign- ment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees and general assessments in the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the Tulare County Office of Education shall deduct one-tenth (1/10) of such dues from the regular salary check of the unit member each month for the months of September through June. Deductions for unit members who sign such authorizations after the commencement of the year shall be appropriately prorated to complete payments by the end of the school year.
9.3 The window period for withdrawing from CTA/NEA shall be between June 1 and June 30 each calendar year.
Deduction of Dues and Fees. (A) The UNION shall notify the COUNTY of the current rate of dues and in-lieu-of dues fees in a timely manner which will enable the COUNTY to make necessary payroll deductions as specified below.
(B) Pursuant to Section 1, the COUNTY shall deduct from the paycheck for the second pay period of each month of all employees in the bargaining unit the specified amount for the payment of UNION membership or payment in-lieu-of dues, to the UNION. At the option of the UNION, instead of monthly dues deduction, the COUNTY shall deduct from each paycheck the specified amount, proportionate to monthly, for the payment of UNION membership, or payment in-lieu-of dues, to the UNION.
(C) The COUNTY agrees to deduct on a monthly basis from the payroll check of employees covered by this agreement who so request in writing voluntary contributions to be paid to the treasurer of American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees Public Employees Organized to Promote Legislative Equality, also referred to as “PEOPLE.” In accordance with ORS 243.702, the parties agree that if these types of voluntary contributions are declared to be legally invalid at any point during the life of this Agreement, then this section shall be reopened for negotiation upon request by either party.

The County shall forward to the Treasurer of the Police Officers Association of Michigan, 00000 Xxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, XX 00000-0000 all dues and representation fees deducted from the employees pursuant to the authorization within thirty (30) days after such deduction has been made, together with a list of the names of those employees for whom the deductions have been made.

Deduction of Dues and Fees. 13.1 The District and Association recognize the rights of employees to form, join, and participate in activities of employee organizations and the rights of employees to refuse to form, join, and participate in such activities. The District will deduct from the monthly paycheck of each employee the dues, initiation fees, and assessments of the Association as voluntarily authorized in writing by the employee on the appropriate form.
a. Any unit member who is a member of the Association at the effective date of this Article shall remain a member for the duration of this Agreement. Any unit member who applies for membership shall sign and deliver to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues to the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District shall deduct appropriately prorated deductions from the regular salary checks of the unit member. Deductions for unit members who signed such authorizations after the commencement of the school year shall be appropriately prorated to complete payment by the end of the school year. The unit member must maintain his or her membership for the duration of this Agreement.
b. Any unit member who is not a member of the Association, or who does not make application for membership within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this Agreement, or within thirty (30) days from the commencement of assigned duties, shall become a member of the As association, pay to the Association fee in the amount equal to ninety percent (90%) of the unified membership dues, prorated in cases of part time employment in one lump- sum cash payment, or Elect an exemption according to 13.1.c below. In the event that a unit member shall not pay such fee directly to the Association, the District shall immediately begin automatic payroll deduction as provided in Education Code 45061.
(1) It is understood that the percentage difference that is shown in this article between the membership fee of 100% of unified dues and the Agency fee of 90% represents that sum of money that the Association may spend on political and/or other non-- representational matters which are not subject to payment by the non-member.

The District will deduct from the salary of any employee who so authorizes individually and voluntarily, in writing, the dues and fees of the Association and other employee organizations, and will transmit these monies to the Association. The Association, alone, shall be responsible for the proper disbursement to the organizations designated by the authorization.

Deduction of Dues and Fees. 4 Section 1 – Deduction of Dues and Fees 6 (A) The UNION shall notify the COUNTY of the current rate of dues, fees or any other 7 employee assessments or authorized payroll deductions permitted under the Public 8 Employee Collective Bargaining Act (PECBA) in a timely manner which will enable the 9 COUNTY to make necessary payroll deductions as specified below. 11 (B) The UNION shall provide to the COUNTY a list within the time frame identified in Section 12 5 below identifying the employees who have provided authorization for the COUNTY to 13 make payroll deductions from the employee’s wages for the purposes authorized under 14 the PECBA. The COUNTY shall rely on the list to make the authorized deductions and 15 remit payment to the UNION. The COUNTY shall not stop deductions without expressed 16 written instruction to do so from the UNION.
