EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE. 22.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund in order to enable the union to educate and instruct specific members in health and safety and labour relations as it pertains to the work and welfare of the bargaining unit. EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE. 14.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education & Assistance Fund an amount a specified in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE. The Employer will contribute two cents ($0.02) per hour worked to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund. The contribution will be remitted on a quarterly basis.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE. 17.01 On the first dues remittance following June 30 of each year the employer shall remit to the Union three cents per hour ($0.03) for each hour worked to be used for the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund. The purpose of this fund includes the provision of training in progressive labour relations practices and the provision of training in matters specific to the employee’s job.
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE. The City will provide public information relative to air quality in Xxxxxxxxxx County and Rapid City when requested. This will include promoting pollution prevention through education and encouraging individual and corporate measures that have or would improve air quality, and continuing to respond to requests for information received from the public. The City will establish and maintain an air quality website to provide access to air quality permit applications and public information on the air quality of the City and County. • Coordination of EPA/State/Local efforts: The City will monitor new developments and any proposed changes in State and Federal regulations that would affect the local program and participate in the review process involved in such changes. • Training: The City staff will attend workshops and training sessions to stay current with new developments provided funds are available. Compliance, enforcement and technical areas are preferred. Staff shall maintain certification for Visual Emission Evaluations (EPA Method 9).
EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE. Employer agrees to contribute one cent ($0.01) per hour worked for employees in the bargaining unit to the Education and Assistance Fund of the Union. Effective June 1, 2010 this amount will increase to two cents ($0.02) per hour worked. The amount shall be remitted monthly along with the dues remittance.

  • Cooperation and Assistance (i) The Parties shall cooperate with each other in the filing of any Tax Returns and the conduct of any audit or other proceeding.   • Education and Outreach Health Education Advisory Committee The PH-MCO must develop and implement effective Member education and outreach programs that may include health education programs focusing on the leading causes of hospitalization and emergency room use, and health initiatives that target Members with Special Needs, including but not limited to: HIV/AIDS, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Dual Eligibles, etc. The PH-MCO must establish and maintain a Health Education Advisory Committee that includes Members and Providers of the community to advise on the health education needs of HealthChoices Members. Representation on this Committee must include, but not be limited to, women, minorities, persons with Special Needs and at least one (1) person with expertise on the medical needs of children with Special Needs. Provider representation includes physical health, behavioral health, and dental health Providers. The PH-MCO must provide the Department annually with the membership (including designation) and meeting schedule of the Health Education Advisory Committee. The PH-MCO must provide for and document coordination of health education materials, activities and programs with public health entities, particularly as they relate to public health priorities and population-based interventions that are relevant to the populations being served and that take into consideration the ability of these populations to understand and act upon health information. The PH- MCO must also work with the Department to ensure that its Health Education Advisory Committees are provided with an effective means to consult with each other and, when appropriate, coordinate efforts and resources for the benefit of the entire HealthChoices population in the HC Zone and/or populations with Special Needs. The PH-MCO must provide the Department with a written description of all planned health education activities and targeted implementation dates on an annual basis.
