Effective April 1, 2009. In recognition of length of service, each full- time employee shall receive one (1) additional week of vacation (five [5] days) on completion of twenty (20) years of continuous service, and on each subsequent fifth (5th) (i.e. 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, etc.) anniversary of employment. The additional five (5) days shall be granted in the calendar year in which the anniversary date falls and are not cumulative. Part-time employees shall be entitled to a pro-rata portion of this benefit. Employees whose anniversary date falls in the period April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009 will be entitled to receive this benefit in the 2009 calendar year.
Effective April 1, 2009. All employees shall receive a one percent (1.0%) across‐ the‐board wage increase. Phlebotomist base rate shall be equal to new step 2 with subsequent adjustments. Bookkeeping/Purchasing wage scale shall be equal to new Medical Secretary wage scale. New Clinic classifications added effective April 1, 2009 include the following:  Clerk I will be placed on the same wage scale as Homemaker  Admissions will be placed on the same wage scale as Nurse Aid  Data Entry will be placed on the same wage scale as Nurse Aid  Transcriptionist will be placed on the same wage scale as Medical Secretary  Certified First Assist Surgical Tech will be placed on the same wage scale as the X‐Ray Tech

Effective April 1, 2009. The Company’s Sick Leave Plan will provide that probationary and regular employees will commence with a credit of eight days at 100 percent (100%) and 15 days at 75 percent (75%) pay, payable from the first day of sickness. This credit will continue to be available until the employee attains his/her first annual accumulation date as a regular employee. At the time of this accumulation date and each subsequent accumulation date he/she will acquire additional credits of eight days at 100 percent (100%) pay and 15 days at 75 percent (75%) pay. The accumulation of credits will be subject to the provisions of the Company’s Sick Leave Plan. Regular part-time employees shall receive a pro-rated number of sick days. When a regular part-time employee is absent due to illness on a scheduled day of work, they shall be paid for the hours of work scheduled for that day provided sick leave credits are available. Normally employees will be expected to arrange routine medical or dental appointments during non-working hours. Where such appointments cannot be arranged during non-working hours and the employee can be released from his/her duties, then the time shall be charged against an employee's sick leave time. Employees who are on sick leave for 30 days or more may be eligible to participate in a vocational rehabilitation programme in accordance with the Company’s policy.

  • Effective April 7, 2019, the School Division will provide each teacher assigned work for five hours or longer a thirty (30) minute rest period during each five (5) hours worked.

  • Effective December 17, 2020, all provisions of this collective agreement shall be read to be gender neutral.

  • Effective January A member who is medically unfit for duty at the time commencement scheduled vacation as a result of an injury or illness 1) compensable under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act and in receipt of benefits from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board or 2) for which medical documentationhas been provided and which has resulted in an approved medical leave or unfit for regular duties each for days or more, shall be entitled to reschedule his vacation, provided the vacation as rescheduled is taken before December of the calendar year in which the injury occurred, or December of that year if approved by the Chief of Police, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld. If the member remains medically unfit for duty such that the rescheduled time is not taken by December as aforesaid, the member shall be entitled to choose to either (1) receive in the first pay period of the following calendar year an equal to the salary he would normally receive in respect of the vacation time not taken or (2) carry over the vacation to the following year, to be scheduled as approved by the or his designate. In the event that the member chooses to carry over the vacation to the following year, the time must be taken prior to the end of the following calendar year. In the event that the carried-over is not taken prior to the end of the following calendar year, the member shall receive a payout at the salary rate applicable when the vacation time was earned. It is understood and agreed that regardless of seniority, no scheduling of any carried over vacation time will result in any member's scheduled vacation being cancelled or bumped. A member who is on suspension, either paid or unpaid, at the time of the commencement of his scheduled vacation, shall not be required to report in for the period of his scheduled vacation. A member who is on suspension, either paid or unpaid, and who has not scheduled his vacation for the year shall do so as soon as requested and, once such vacation time is approved, shall not be required to report in during the scheduled vacation time.

  • Effective September 1, 2019, notwithstanding any other provision in the Collective Agreement, principals shall receive a minimum allowance of $25,000 annually, prorated based on FTE.

  • Effective November 15, 1985 casual part-time nurses will be placed on the salary grid in accordance with their service, such service to be calculated in accordance with the seniority calculation set out in Article

  • Term/Effective Date This Agreement is effective upon the Effective Date and will expire on the 30th day of June, 2023, unless earlier terminated in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Effective Date; Duration This Agreement shall become effective when signed by both parties and approved by the City’s legal counsel. Unless sooner terminated, this Agreement shall expire on June 30, 2019. Termination or expiration shall not extinguish or prejudice the City’s right to enforce this Agreement with respect to any default or defect in performance that has not been cured.
