Effects of Leave Without Pay. Throughout the preceding sections, employee and department options concerning the placement of an employee on LWOP while the employee still has leave in the employee's account are discussed. Before such action is taken, the following consequences should be considered:
Effects of Leave Without Pay. A) During any pay period that a Member is charged with leave without pay, that Member shall accrue personal leave on a prorated basis the same as a part time Member.
Effects of Leave Without Pay. Employees on leave without pay (including vacation purchase hours referenced in subsection 20.J. (Vacation Purchase Plan)) during a pay period that the semi-monthly stipend is paid shall have their stipend prorated as outlined in subsection 11.F.2. (Proration).
Effects of Leave Without Pay. 13.3.5.1 Time elapsed while on leave of absence without pay shall not be counted toward seniority for promotion, compensation, sick leave or vacation privileges. However, employees absent on leave for study or retraining or government service shall include such time toward qualifying for advancement to the next higher step in the salary range in accordance with this Agreement. Employees absent on approved military leave shall be accorded all the rights and privileges granted by the Education Code and the Military and Veterans Code upon returning to the District’s employment.
Effects of Leave Without Pay. 9.3.2.1 Time elapsed while on leave of absence without pay shall not be counted toward seniority for promotion, compensation, sick leave, or vacation privileges, unless the leave of absence is granted for government service.
Effects of Leave Without Pay. 59.1. Where an employee takes 30 calendar days or more leave without pay the whole period of leave without pay will not count for service for any purpose other than where required by legislation. For clarity, this includes leave accruals and eligibility for salary advancement or performance bonuses.
