Eligibility for Insurance. 1. Any regularly contracted employee who works at least thirty (30) hours per week shall be entitled to have the Board pay one-hundred percent (100%) of the Board’s total contribution for all of the types of insurance listed in the following paragraphs.
Eligibility for Insurance. 16.2.1 Unit Members Employed Prior to December 31, 2002 All unit members who are regularly assigned to work at least six (6) hours per day shall be entitled to coverage under the programs provided for in Article 16.1 above. Employees who are regularly assigned to work less than six (6) hours per day may enroll in the various insurance programs, consistent with JPA regulations, and have a prorata of their premiums paid in the same proportion as their daily assigned work hours bears to eight (8). Employees regularly assigned to work fewer than three (3) hours per day shall bear their full premium costs.

The District contribution shall be pro-rated as follows: 50% assignment - Not to exceed 50% contribution. 75% assignment - Not to exceed 75% contribution. If the bargaining unit member's working hours are reduced at the request of the District, the District's contribution remains the same.
Eligibility for Insurance. Probationary employees shall be eligible for insurance benefits pursuant to the terms of the insurance policy.

The employer shall contribute 90% for eligible employees toward the purchase of Plan A. The balance of the insurance costs shall be paid by payroll deduction.

Adjunct and part-time faculty who teach a minimum of 40 contact hours of instruction in or more courses during an Academic Year (Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer) or a minimum of 75 hours of individual instruction or tutoring in a semester in an Academic Year (Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer) (Eligibility Requirements) may apply for health insurance coverage through the United Healthcare Point-of-Service Plans (Value or Advantage Plans), or their reasonable equivalents in which the University, from time to time, may participate and which is available to the University’s full-time faculty. Such health insurance will be effective in the calendar year following the Academic Year during which the Eligibility Requirements were met.
Eligibility for Insurance. Each Employee will be eligible for insurance in accordance with the requirements of the Employer. In no event will any Employee become eligible for insurance prior to the Date of Issue.
