EMERGENCY CHILD CARE. A. An emergency is a situation or circumstance which results in an employee's inability to report for or continue scheduled work because of emergency child care requirements, such as: unexpected absence of regular care provider, unexpected closure of the child's school, or unexpected need to pick up child at school earlier than normal. B. The employee’s supervisor may approve the use of annual leave, sick leave, Personal Leave Day, or leave without pay for emergency child care as follows:

EMERGENCY CHILD CARE. The Company will provide emergency child care to allow an Employee to come to work when his or her regular care provider is not available. Reimbursement will be made of the actual expense up to a maximum of $600 per year. Company payments to the Employee of this benefit shall be non-taxable to the Employee to the extent permitted by law. The Employee will be reimbursed upon submission of documentation. The Dependent Care Plan defines child and legal provider and requires that both spouses be working. For emergency care reimbursement a further limitation will be that the provider not be a relative living in the Employee’s home.
EMERGENCY CHILD CARE. 44.1 Where an employee has work obligations preventing the use of entitlements outlined in clause 35.1, and has the prior Agreement of the manager, the employee may bring any child(ren) needing care to the workplace. This clause should only be activated in exceptional circumstances and the employee must take all responsibility for the child(xxx)’s safety and wellbeing whilst on the premises and must also ensure that the confidentiality of ACON’s business is not compromised by having child(xxx) on the premises. 44.2 Where ACON requires an employee to work after 6 pm ACON will pay relevant childcare costs on receipt of a receipt for that childcare. ACON is committed to continuously improving employee work performance through its Performance Plan and Review (PPR) program. PPR is the basis on which an employee progresses through the levels within a classification. 45.1 In order to manage and improve work performance, employees will take part in a formal Performance Plan and Review (PPR). 45.2 Guidelines for the PPR will be accessible to all employees and are available from the employee’s manager, Human Resources and via ACON’s Welcome Pack.
EMERGENCY CHILD CARE. The Commission shall continue to pay the current cost of a subscription service to xxxx.xxx for all House Staff. If xxxx.xxx ceases to provide back-up childcare benefits or the cost of such services becomes unreasonable (defined as a year over year increase of greater than ten percent (10%)), the parties will meet to review alternative arrangements.

  • Emergency Care If you need emergency care, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room. If you are traveling outside our service area and need urgent care, call the Customer Service number provided in the chart above or visit our website and use the “Find A Doctor” feature to find a BlueCard provider.

  • Child Care The County will continue to support the concept of non-profit child care facilities similar to the “Kid’s at Work” program established in the Public Works Department.

  • Emergency Calls IP Phones need an additional power supply to operate. In the event of a power failure it is your responsibility to ensure you have the means to make emergency calls. In accordance with paragraph 13.2, we will not be liable for any loss or damage (financial or otherwise) where you fail to do so.

  • Emergency Services The parties recognize that in the event of a strike or lockout, situations may arise of an emergency nature. To this end, the Employer and the Union will agree to provide services of an emergency nature.

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.

  • Emergency Closure Where there is a temporary closure as a result of an immediate emergency or a planned temporary closure due to renovations, repairs, or moves, the Employer will: a) First offer to the affected employees the choice of taking either a vacation day or an unpaid leave of absence with no loss of seniority or benefits; thereafter, at the Employer's discretion, one of the following: b) Reassign staff to another location; c) Reschedule the lost hours within two (2) pay periods; or d) Decide not to do either (b) or (c), in which case employees shall still be paid for their regularly scheduled hours which they did not work as a result of the temporary layoff.

  • Emergency Service Leave Where employees' services are required for emergency operations by request from Provincial Emergency Programs or appropriate police authority, leave from work as required may be granted without loss of basic pay. If any remuneration, other than for expenses, is received, it shall be remitted to the Employer.

  • Emergency Services Leave (a) An Employee who engages in a voluntary emergency management activity is entitled to be absent without loss of pay from his or her employment for a total of 5 days per annum commencing at the start of each calendar year. For the avoidance of doubt, any days not utilised by the Employee by the end of the calendar year, do not carry over into the subsequent year. (b) Voluntary emergency management activity has the meaning provided by the FWA.

  • Emergency Contact Information Resident must complete and provide to University an emergency contact information form provided by University Housing before Resident will be allowed to move into the Residence Facility.

  • Urgent Care This plan covers services received at an urgent care center. For other services, such as surgery or diagnostic tests, the amount that you pay is based on the type of service being provided. See Summary of Medical Benefits for details.
