EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN. 27.01 The Employer shall facilitate the procurement of insurance protection by way of participation in group insurance plans, subject to the enrolment and other requirements of the Insurer. Provided that said enrolment and other requirements are met, the following group insurance plans shall be continued or implemented:
(a) Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan;
(b) Employee Benefits Plan, or equivalent, inclusive of:
(i) Group Life Insurance (Basic);
(ii) Accidental Death and Dismemberment (Basic);
(iii) Short-Term Disability [income replacement for a period of up to one hundred and twenty (120) working days during a qualifying disability equal to sixty-six and two-thirds percent (66 2/3%) of basic weekly earnings at the basic rate of pay to the established maximum following a fourteen (14) day elimination period where applicable. The Short-Term Disability shall become effective on the first (1st) working day following the expiry of sick leave credits in the case of absence due to injury or hospitalization. In the particular case of Employees who have insufficient sick leave credits to satisfy the fourteen (14) calendar day elimination period, the Short-Term Disability shall commence on the fifteenth (15th) day following the commencement of non-hospitalized sickness];
(iv) Long-Term Disability [income replacement during a qualifying disability equal to sixty-six and two-thirds percent (66 2/3%) of basic monthly earnings at the basic rate of pay to the established maximum following a one hundred and twenty (120) working day elimination period];
(v) Dental Plan which provides for the reimbursement of eighty percent (80%) of eligible Basic Services, fifty percent (50%) of eligible Extensive Services, and fifty percent (50%) of eligible Orthodontic Services, in accordance with the usual and customary dental fee schedule. A maximum annual reimbursement of three thousand ($3,000.00) per insured person per benefit year shall apply to Extensive Services. Orthodontic Services shall be subject to a lifetime maximum reimbursement of three thousand ($3,000.00) per insured person; and
(vi) Supplementary Benefits Plan.
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN. 28.01 When the enrollment and other requirements of the insurer(s) have been met, the Employer shall take steps to contract for and implement the following group plans:
(a) Alberta Blue Cross Supplementary Health Benefits Plan; or equivalent, through 80% direct payment;
(b) Alberta Blue Cross Dental Plan or equivalent, which provides for:
(i) The reimbursement of eighty percent (80%) of eligible Basic Services;
(ii) Fifty percent (50%) of all eligible extensive services; and fifty percent (50%) of eligible Orthodontic Services, in accordance with the current Alberta Dental Association Fee Schedule, or any similar device as may be amended from year to year. A maximum annual reimbursement of three thousand dollars ($3000) per insured person per benefit year shall apply to Extensive Services. Orthodontic Services shall be subject to a lifetime maximum reimbursement of three thousand dollars ($3000) per insured person;
(c) Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan;
(d) Employee Benefits Plan, or equivalent inclusive of:
(i) Group Life Insurance
(ii) Accidental Death and Dismemberment
(iii) Short-Term Disability (66 2/3%) of basic weekly earnings at the Basic Rate of Pay to the established maximum;
(iv) Long-Term Disability (66 2/3%) of basic monthly earnings at the Basic Rate of Pay to the established maximum;
(e) At the Employers' option, a "El SUB Plan" to supplement an eligible Employee's Employment Insurance to meet the Employer's obligation to provide benefit payments to an Employee during the valid health-related period for being absent from work due to pregnancy for which she has provided satisfactory medical proof.
(a) The implementation and operation of the Employee Benefits Plan, hereinbefore referred to, shall, at all times, be subject to and governed by the terms and conditions outlined in both the Benefit Plan Information Brochure and the terms and conditions of the policies or contracts entered into with the underwriters of the Plans.
(b) The Employer shall make available to all Employees participating in these Plans, copies of information booklets of these Plans.

(b) Health Benefits Trust of Alberta (HBTA), or equivalent, inclusive of:
(i) Group Life Insurance (Basic);
(ii) Accidental Death and Dismemberment (Basic);
(iii) Short Term Disability (income replacement for a period of up to one hundred and twenty (120) working days during a qualifying disability equal to sixty-six and two-thirds percent (66-2/3%) of basic weekly earnings to the established maximum following a fourteen (14) day elimination period where applicable. EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN. 23.01 No alterations or amendments shall be made to the Benefits Plan that in the aggregate constitutes a detriment to the bargaining unit collectively, without consultation with the Union.
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN. As of the Closing Date, each employee of the Business shall become 100% vested in his or her interest in or his or her accrued benefits under all Employee Benefit Plans.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN. 24.01 The Employer agrees to make available the following benefits and to pay the premium costs only associated with such benefits as particularized hereafter. All claims for benefits shall be made directly with the carrier or carriers and shall be subject to the eligibility terms and all other terms of the master agreement of the carrier. The summary of benefits as particularized hereafter is not deemed to be any undertaking by the employer to provide said benefits.
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN. Except as disclosed in SSI's filings with the SEC or in a Subsequent SSI Exchange Act Report, SSI has no material liability for any unfunded or underfunded Benefit Plans or any material withdrawal liability with respect to any multiemployer plan or any liability in connection with the termination or reorganization of any multiemployer plan which liability could reasonably be expected to have an SSI Material Adverse Effect.
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN. The obligation of the Employer is to co-operate with the Bargaining Unit or its agent in arranging to pay the stated share of the premiums.
