Establishment of New Positions. Requests for establishment of new positions involving new classifications and rates of pay come from General Managers or designates. These affect the rate structure, but must be dealt with at time of request. Recommendations as to pay rate to be discussed with the Union before they are submitted to the City Manager, but they will be submitted whether or not mutual agreement is reached.
Establishment of New Positions. When a new position covered by this Agreement is established, notification of the job description will be forwarded to the Association and the salary shall be negotiated. If the Parties are unable to agree, such a dispute may be submitted to arbitration. The salary shall be retroactive to the time the position was first filled by the nurse.

All requests for the establishment of positions new to the Non-Instructional Classification Plan will be first written up on a position questionnaire and submitted to Compensation Administration for evaluation and recommendation for pay grade assignment. New positions so established will be audited after they have been functioning for a reasonable period of time to ensure the correctness of the level of duties, responsibilities, and pay grade assignment.

A copy of the proposed job description shall be submitted to the bargaining unit for its review and comment. New positions, so established, will be audited after they have been functioning for a reasonable period of time, to ensure the correctness of the level of duties, responsibilities, and pay rate assignment.
Establishment of New Positions. The local representative of the Institute will be notified, a reasonable time in advance, of the establishment of any new positions that may fall within the scope of the bargaining unit, such notice to include the number of positions to be established, the reason for their establishment, a job description of the new positions and the proposed classification level.
Establishment of New Positions. 20.01 Upon receipt of an approved Departmental request for an additional established position, Compensation in Human Resources Department will conduct a preliminary review, establish the position, and assign a tentative classification. After the new position has been filled for at least six (6) months, the Compensation Section will prepare a current job analysis report for presentation to the Job Evaluation Committee.
20.02 The Job Evaluation Committee shall evaluate the position on the basis of the information presented in the job analysis report and shall reach a decision on the position.
20.03 Rates and conditions shall be effective at the date of commencement of the position.
20.04 The incumbents of new positions that have been evaluated shall be informed by the Compensation Section within one (1) month of the classification of their position, with copies to both Management and the Union.
Establishment of New Positions. The County agrees to give written notice to the President of the Federation of the establishment of any new positions in the bargaining unit, the job classification for that position and the proposed pay rate for that position. If the Federation does not agree that the pay rate set for the classification is proper, the Federation may request negotiations on that issue. A request by the Federation for negotiations must be made within fifteen (15) working days following receipt of such notification from the County.
Establishment of New Positions. The Board of Education has the right to establish additional positions and issue payment on supplementary contracts for such positions during the term of the Master Agreement.
Establishment of New Positions a) It is the responsibility of the EMPLOYER to prepare a revised job description for any new or substantially changed job, and to discuss same with the UNION. In evaluating jobs, the same data, criteria and methods shall be used in determining salary levels as have been applied to existing positions.
b) If the Union challenges the evaluation of the job, it shall have a right to meet with the EMPLOYER to endeavour to negotiate a mutually satisfied evaluation . Such request will be made within ten (10) days after the receipt of notice from the EMPLOYER of such new occupational or substantially changed classification . Any change mutually agreed to resulting from such meeting shall be retroactive to the date that notice of the new rate was given by the EMPLOYER. If the parties are unable to agree, the dispute may be submitted to arbitration as provided in the Agreement within fifteen (15) days of such meeting.
Establishment of New Positions. 0108.1 If more than 75 percent of courses (contacts) in a department or discipline in a twelve (12) month period will be taught by part-time instructors, where the remaining twenty-five (25) percent constitutes a load by full-time instructors, the need for additional full-time instructors will be determined by the results of a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the Xxxx and the Division Chair.
