Faith or Conscience Leave. 4.11.1 Each employee is entitled to two (2) unpaid days per calendar year for a reason of faith or conscience or an organized activity under the auspices of a religious denomination, church, or religious organization. The two (2) unpaid workdays allowed by law and this section must be taken during the employee’s contract year if at all; they do not carry forward from one year to the next.

Faith or Conscience Leave. Each employee covered by this Agreement is entitled to unpaid leave each year as allowed by law for a reason of faith or conscience or an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church, or religious organization unless such leave will pose an undue hardship to the District. The parties agree to incorporate the definition of undue hardship as set forth in the WAC that will be promulgated by OFM.
Faith or Conscience Leave. Leave will be granted for a reason of faith or conscience for up to two (2) work days per calendar year.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Medical Leave Pursuant to applicable provisions of the Civil Service Rules, County Code, and other law, medical leaves of absence will be granted by the employee’s Department Head upon request only upon submission of a doctor’s certificate or other satisfactory medical evidence of the employee’s need for such leave.

  • Rights While on Leave A bargaining unit member approved for a professional conference shall receive full salary while in attendance at said conference. In addition, an estimate of cost of reimbursement will be submitted with the request.

  • GENERAL CIVIL RIGHTS PROVISIONS The Contractor agrees to comply with pertinent statutes, Executive Orders and such rules as are promulgated to ensure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability be excluded from participating in any activity conducted with or benefiting from Federal assistance. This provision binds the Contractor and subcontractors from the bid solicitation period through the completion of the contract. This provision is in addition to that required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

  • Meadow Protection Reasonable care shall be taken to avoid damage to the cover, soil, and wa- ter in xxxxxxx shown on Sale Area Map. Vehicular or skidding equipment shall not be used on xxxxxxx, ex- cept where roads, landings, and tractor roads are ap- proved under B5.1 or B6.422. Unless otherwise agreed, trees felled into xxxxxxx shall be removed by endlining. Resulting logging slash shall be removed where neces- sary to protect cover, soil, and water.
