Days AllowedTeachers will be allowed to utilize Professional Development Days, to the extent necessary to meet recertification needs and to meet the Professional Development goals of the teacher, PDC, and District.
Days AllowedEmployees may be granted a leave of absence for up to four (4) days in the event of the critical illness or death of the employee's mother, father, sister, brother, spouse, child, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, grandparents, grandchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, parents of significant other, spouse's immediate family, anyone who has the position of parent or child, or any person who has been a member of the employee's household immediately prior to the critical illness or death.
Days AllowedThe Superintendent or Executive Director for Human Resources shall grant annually up to two (2) days leave at full pay in increments of one-half (1/2) or full days only for personal leave.
Days Allowed. 9.8.1.1 Up to five (5) consecutive days in the event of death of a spouse, registered domestic partner, child, including stillbirth and miscarriage, parent, sibling, or comparable step relation; or 9.8.1.2 Up to three (3) consecutive days in the event of the death of a grandparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law or daughter- in-law, or the registered domestic partner’s equivalent relative.

Days AllowedAll unit members may use up to five (5) days of accrued sick leave for a personal necessity each school year. Personal necessity leave does not carry over from year to year.
Days Allowed. The Board shall allow a Psychologist full pay for up to three (3) days for a death in the immediate family. In those situations that require the staff member to be absent in excess of the funeral days permitted, the extra day(s) shall be charged to his/her accumulated sick leave. Should a Psychologist be named the executor of an estate, the Board shall allow the Psychologist up to five (5) days.
Days Allowed. If the conditions above are applicable in a given instance and are met in full, the Employer will provide full compensation for each full and partial day of such absence for which there is not payment of Workers’ Compensation to a maximum of five (5) working days per incident within seven (7) calendar days following. If a subsequent Worker’s Compensation award is made effective to the first day of the absence for an injury resulting in absence, worker’s compensation paid to the employee will be returned to the agency by the employee.

  • Mileage Allowance The state agrees to seek continued funding to provide for the payment of a mileage allowance for the use of privately owned vehicles for official travel at the rate provided in section 112.061(7)(d)1., F.S.

  • Shift Allowance In addition to the wage specified in sub-clause (1), read with sub- clause (12), a normal shift worker shall, in respect of his shift hours worked in any week, be paid an additional 12,5% on such wage.

  • Shift Allowances (a) An Employee whilst on afternoon or night shift must be paid for such shift 15% more than the Employee’s ordinary rate. (b) An Employee who works on an afternoon or night shift which does not continue for at least five successive afternoons or nights must be paid for such shift at time and a half for the first two hours thereof and double time thereafter. (c) An Employee who: (i) during a period of engagement on shift, works night shift only; (ii) remains on night shift for a longer period than four consecutive weeks; or (iii) works on a night shift which does not rotate or alternate with another shift or with day work so as to give the Employee at least one third of their working time off night shift in each shift cycle; must, during such engagement, period or cycle, be paid 30% more than their ordinary rate for all time worked during ordinary working hours on such night shift.

  • Work Days The work day shall consist of an assigned shift within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours commencing at 12:01 a.m.

  • Specialist Schools Allowance Funding equivalent to that which a maintained school with the Academy's characteristics would receive in respect of their participation in the specialist schools programme. In the year of conversion, this may continue to be paid by the Local Authority;

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • Travel time allowance All employees shall be paid an allowance (See Appendix A) for each day on which they present themselves for work. The allowance shall also be paid for rostered days off.

  • Individual Charge for Parking i. The Contractor shall provide up to @twenty (@20) parking passes to the Attendees during the Program Dates at the rate of $@@.@@ for each pass. Unless expressly set forth otherwise, the Contractor shall bill each Attendee directly for any parking passes purchased as an Individual Charge.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
