Foundation Responsibilities. 1.1. FOUNDATION shall assume responsibility, as the employer of record for the SWDs.
Foundation Responsibilities. Consistent with the purposes stated in its Articles of Incorporation, the Foundation exists to promote the interest and welfare of the University and provide it with a margin of excellence by providing the maximum level of sustainable financial support.
Foundation Responsibilities. The Foundation shall provide LCCC with fundraising and asset investment services, which shall include all services related to the following activities:
Foundation Responsibilities. The FOUNDATION shall:
1) Provide the PARTICIPATING COLLEGE with free integration and cover licensing fees for the Cornerstone LMS for faculty, staff, administrators and trustees for the term of this MOU.
2) Provide the PARTICIPATING COLLEGE with sample data feed template for Cornerstone LMS integration.
3) Have a dedicated staff person to serve as the Cornerstone LMS global system administrator and established process for the PARTICIPATING COLLEGE to submit any issues or questions that arise.
4) Provide the PARTICIPATING COLLEGE with functionality to access Cornerstone through single sign-on access to the Cornerstone LMS.
5) Provide training resources, materials, and instructions to the PARTICIPATING COLLEGE.
6) Provide technical support and customer service for Cornerstone LMS and the VRCProject through set up, integration, and implementation at the PARTICIPATING COLLEGE.
7) Train the PARTICIPATING COLLEGE’s Professional Development Lead (PDL) on the Cornerstone LMS and the VRCProject.
8) Upon request, FOUNDATION shall make available to the Chancellor’s Office all system, college, and district data collected by the Cornerstone LMS.
9) FOUNDATION global system administrators will respond to and escalate any accessibility-related issue reported by end users or PARTICIPATING COLLEGE’s system administrator(s).
10) Accessibility issues may be reported using contact methods directly in the LMS, or by use of FOUNDATION-maintained service desk software. FOUNDATION global system administrators will prioritize and escalate any accessibility-related issue by creating a support request with Cornerstone Global Technology Services to address the concern. FOUNDATION maintains current records of Cornerstone’s Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPATs).
Foundation Responsibilities. The primary functions of the Foundation under this Memorandum of Understanding and as permitted in its Memorandum of Understanding with Xxxxxxxx University are identifying and soliciting financial support and effectively managing endowment assets designated for the benefit of Sunflower. The Foundation agrees it shall:
A. in coordination with the Sunflower Board of Directors, advise, plan, coordinate and execute development activities in support of the Sunflower consistent with University priorities established by its Board of Regents;
B. adhere to the Foundation gift-management and acceptance policies for all gifts to Sunflower;
C. acknowledge and issue receipts for all gifts for Sunflower and provide appropriate recognition and stewardship of such gifts;
D. receive the written approval of a duly authorized Sunflower representative and as appropriate a Xxxxxxxx University representative before accepting gifts with restrictive terms requiring additional allocation of resources to maintain the gift or satisfy the restriction, placement on the Xxxxxxxx University campus, departure from established or required University policies and procedures; E. receive, hold, manage, invest and disburse contributions of cash, securities, and other forms of property investing gifts contributed in the form of planned and deferred gift instruments according to established policies.
Foundation Responsibilities. A. Upon establishment of the MSHCP Fund, the Foundation shall appoint an individual and an alternate (collectively, the “Foundation Representative”), who shall represent the Foundation in carrying out its obligations under this Agreement.
B. The Foundation shall maintain the MSHCP Fund either in an interest bearing account at a financial institution that is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Securities Investment Protection Corporation or in a government securities-only investment account. For accounting purposes, the MSHCP Fund and its sub-accounts shall be distinguishable from all other accounts maintained by the Foundation. The Foundation shall also ensure that each deposit into the MSHCP Fund is tracked separately for accounting purposes into either the Reserve Account, Mitigation Account, or Interest Account, as appropriate.
Foundation Responsibilities. The Foundation shall endeavor to provide the Consortium Board with fundraising which shall include all services related to the following activities:
Foundation Responsibilities. WPF represents and acknowledges the following regarding its operation, creation, and purpose:
1. WPF is created and operated solely to support WPRD’s mission and goals and its work will be compatible with these interests and goals;
2. WPF will have as its primary purpose to secure, manage, and invest private and business support for the benefit of WPRD and the Community;
3. WPF will meet on a regular basis in furtherance of its mission;
4. WPF will operate as a private legal entity separate from WPRD;
5. WPF will use sound fiscal and auditing procedures;
6. WPF will not interfere with day-to-day WPRD operations; and
7. WPF has obtained and will maintain status as a tax-exempt, charitable organization under 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3) to ensure that gifts and bequests received may qualify as deductible, charitable contributions for the donor and will follow all federal and state requirements of such tax-exempt designation.
Foundation Responsibilities. A. Foundation shall create an environment conducive to increasing levels of private support for the mission and priorities of District.
B. Foundation agrees to use its best efforts to promote the development work of Foundation on behalf of District.
C. Foundation shall provide insurance coverage to the extent required by the terms and conditions of any grant or donation and shall include District as an additional insured to the extent permitted by the terms and conditions of insurance policies presently in effect.
D. Foundation is responsible for planning and executing comprehensive fund- raising and donor-acquisition programs in support of the District’s mission. These programs include major gifts, planned gifts, special projects, and campaigns as appropriate.
E. Foundation will establish, adhere to, and periodically assess its gift- management and acceptance policies. It will promptly acknowledge and issue receipts of all gifts on behalf of Foundation and provide appropriate recognition and stewardship of such gifts.
F. The Foundation shall not accept grants from state or federal agencies, except in special circumstances that are approved by the Foundation Board of Directors and District Board of Trustees.
G. The Foundation shall establish and enforce policies to protect donor confidentiality and rights, to the extent permitted by law, but agrees that the District is a public agency bound by the laws of the State of California and the United States of America on issues of accountability, privacy, and transparency.
