Graduate Credit Hours. 1. Teachers will receive $45 per graduate credit hours (in blocks of three) for approved graduate credit hours as an add-to-base calculation up to a maximum of 78 hours. Graduate hours taken after July 1, 2006, that exceed 78 hours will also be paid. Payment for graduate hours shall be made twice a year in October and February. Official transcripts must be received by the HR Department on or before September 30 or January 31.

Graduate Credit Hours a. A salary payment as described in item d. of this section requires advanced approval by the Superintendent and applies only to those hours which are a necessary part of any degree or certification program, or reasonably relate to the Unit Member’s actual teaching activity.
Graduate Credit Hours. For hours earned after July 1, 1999, the District will issue salary credit in the amount of thirty-nine dollars and thirty cents ($39.30) per credit hour to each teacher who earns graduate credit toward his/her Master’s Degree that is required for permanent certification in the tenure area of his/her probationary appointment in blocks of 3 or 4 hours. This is subject to the following conditions.

Graduate Credit Hours. Graduate courses that are within the unit member’s area of certification leading to permanent / professional certification do not require the prior approval of the Superintendent to be eligible for the graduate credit stipend. Graduate courses that are outside of the Unit Member’s area of certification or beyond the Master’s Degree must have the prior approval of the Superintendent of Schools to be eligible for the graduate credit stipend. Appropriate step placement may not be equivalent to years of service. Payments for graduate credit hours earned will be paid in three (3) hour blocks upon satisfactory completion of the course(s) and the filing of the proper documentation. Any credits earned after July 1st, 2008 shall be paid annually at a rate of $300.00 per block of three (3) as of July 1st, 2009 and thereafter. Credits filed during the year will be prorated that first year based on the approval date of the submitted form. The stipend will be paid upon proof of completion to the Superintendent’s Office and shall not be a part of the unit member’s base salary. This stipend shall apply to all unit members.

  • Service Credit Time spent on authorized leaves of absence without pay will count towards seniority, including service credit for annual step increases, layoff purposes, and for computing the amount of vacation leave, provided the employee is properly returned to service and is not serving a probationary period. Employees that do not return to service from a personal leave of absence shall not receive service credit for the time spent on such leave.

  • Service Availability You understand that Service availability is at all times conditioned upon the corresponding operation and availability of the communication systems used in communicating your instructions and requests to the Credit Union. We will not be liable or have any responsibility of any kind for any loss or damage thereby incurred by you in the event of any failure or interruption of such communication systems or services resulting from the act or omission of any third party, or from any other cause not reasonably within the control of the Credit Union.

  • Proper Accommodation Proper accommodation shall be provided for employees to have their meals and store and change their clothes.

  • Teaching Load Full teaching assignments shall normally include 12 course credit hours of scheduled teaching per academic quarter. A reassignment of duty, for the equivalent of 3 or 4 credit course, shall be provided during one term of the first academic year to all newly hired tenure track faculty to further their teaching, scholarship and service and to encourage faculty retention. Wherever possible the University will endeavor to arrange teaching schedules that avoid excessive numbers of preparations and recognize evening and/or off-campus assignments. Class sizes will be established and monitored by the appropriate academic xxxx in consultation with division chairs and affected faculty each term. The following equivalencies will be used in determining teaching assignments:

  • EPP service availability Refers to the ability of the TLD EPP servers as a group, to respond to commands from the Registry accredited Registrars, who already have credentials to the servers. The response shall include appropriate data from the Registry System. An EPP command with “EPP command RTT” 5 times higher than the corresponding SLR will be considered as unanswered. If 51% or more of the EPP testing probes see the EPP service as unavailable during a given time, the EPP service will be considered unavailable.

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.
