Work Day Hours. Each work day is to begin at 0600 on the designated day and end with the night shift at 0600 the following day. Example: Sunday – 0600 Sunday to 1800 Sunday (dayshift) and 1800 Sunday to 0600 Monday (nightshift).
Work Day Hours. 9.3.1 The Employer recognizes that the varying nature of a Unit Member’s day-to-day professional responsibilities does not lend itself to an instructional day of rigidly established length. The instructional work day for Unit Members shall generally be six (6) hours and forty-five (45) minutes, not including lunch, unless the Employer designated assignment is on a special education comprehensive high school or Career Technical Education Charter High School campus, which shall be seven (7) hours and fifteen (15) minutes, not including lunch.

B. Early student release days (with the exception of the school improvement days, when professional development is provided)
C. Teacher institute days (with the exception of the designated professional development day)
D. The last work day prior to all PAID holidays (excluding the day before WAIVED holidays), AND WINTER BREAK AND SPRING BREAK

Work Day Hours. My Teacher Work Day requirements are based on registration. 1−5 students = ½ day; 6−19 students = 1 day; 20 or more = 1 ½ days.
Work Day Hours. All time worked in one day before 6:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m. shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half. The District will pay overtime only if proper approval is received in advance. No split shifts are permitted except as mutually agreed upon for each job. The 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. rule shall not apply in the event of an emergency such as earthquakes, floods, fires or inclement weather or similar emergencies. The starting time of the shift may be adjusted to fit the emergency, and up to twelve (12) hours in any twenty-four (24) hour period may be worked at straight time.
Work Day Hours. My Teacher Work Day requirements are based on registration on October 31, 2014. I must work and may not send a substitute without prior approval from Branch CM Chair. All substitutes must be approved by March 1, 2015. A monetary fine of $50.00 per hour or any part thereof made payable to MTAC-WLA will be imposed if I refuse to work, do not show up for my assigned shift, arrive late for or leave early from my assigned shift.
