Initial Donation Period. Any existing unit member who wishes to participate or continue membership in the Catastrophic Leave Bank shall donate one (1) full salary sick leave day or one (1) full salary vacation day to the bank during the month of February 2016. After the Initial Donation Period, the first three (3)- year donation cycle shall commence in March 2016 and end on December 31, 2018. Existing or new unit members may donate to the Bank at any time during the cycle. Three Year Cycle. Following the Initial Donation Period and first donation cycle, additional donations shall be made on a three (3) year cycle (January 1, 2019; January 1, 2022, etc.). The unit member’s donation shall be automatically renewed every three (3) years in order to maintain membership in the Bank. The participant may opt out of the automatic renewal during the District’s Health and Welfare Benefits Open Enrollment period prior to the automatic renewal. Withdrawal from the program will be effective on January 1 of the new cycle. Additional Donations. Following the Initial Donation Period, additional donations may be requested when the balance in the bank drops below two-hundred (200) days. However, nothing herein shall preclude any eligible unit member from donating to the bank at any time.

Initial Donation Period. Any existing Certificated bargaining unit member who wishes to participate in the program (“participant”) shall donate one (1) contractual day between July 1st and August 31st (the “Initial Donation Period”). After the Initial Donation Period, the donation cycle shall occur on an annual basis (July 1 through June 30) as described in the Annual Cycle section below. Participants may donate additionally to the bank at any time during each cycle. Participation is voluntary, but only participants in the program will be permitted to withdraw from the Bank. Certificated bargaining unit members who initially decline to join the Catastrophic Leave Bank must com- plete a twenty (20) day waiting period before becoming eligible to request a withdrawal from the Bank after becoming a member of the program. New hires, and bargaining unit members returning from an extended leave of absence (which included the Initial Donation or Annual Cycle enrollment period), will be permitted to contribute within thirty (30) calendar days of the first day of service. The District shall supply program enrollment forms to all new unit members and to those unit members returning from an extended leave of absence.

  • Transition Period Due to the nature of our purchasing process, the District often requires an existing service provider to continue to provide goods and/or services while the District is in the process of advertising, evaluating, and awarding a contract for the provision of the same goods and/or services in the future.   • Meal Period A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Hire Period The Hire Period shall commence from the time stated in the order confirmation unless the Equipment is collected by the Hirer, in which case the Hire Period shall commence when the Equipment leaves our premises. The Hire Period shall terminate when the goods are received back at our premises.
