INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. The intent of the Plans and Specifications is to prescribe the complete Work or improvement that Contractor undertakes to do. The Plans and Specifications shall be read and interpreted in conjunction with the Contract Documents. Unless otherwise provided, it is understood that Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, necessary supplies and incidentals as may reasonably be required to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and other Contract Documents. The approved Plans are on file in the office of the City Clerk, City of Golden Valley, Golden Valley City Hall, 0000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx 00000, and show the location, details and dimensions of the Work. Any deviations from the Contract Documents as may be required during construction shall, in all cases, be determined by the Engineer and authorized in writing by the Engineer before such deviations are consummated. The City may attach addenda to these Specifications, to be filed with such Specifications and incorporated as part thereof, at the office of the City Clerk of Golden Valley. Bidders shall be responsible to examine such Specifications as are on file for addenda before submitting Proposals.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. 1.1.1 These outline lease specifications and construction layouts contain the same minimum requirements of the Lessee and are for a complete structure, including heating, ventilating and air conditioning, electrical wiring, plumbing, fire protection work, hardwares, and interior finishes.
1.1.2 The building is to be constructed in compliance with all local, city, state or federal government building codes and Health Department requirements. In addition, all covenants, codes, and restrictions (CCR) must be complied with relative to construction and building locations. In all instances where no apparent codes prevail, same shall be constructed in compliance with Title 24, ACI, AICS, ASHRAE, ASTM, AWSC, BOCA, NEC, NFPA, UPC and OSHA.
1.1.3 Dimensions and locations of property lines on any drawings furnished by Lessee are approximate only, and it is the Lessor's responsibility to ascertain the actual dimensions and locations.
1.1.4 No substitutions, changes, or deviations from the specifications or drawings shall be made without the written approval of the Lessee.
1.1.5 If there is any conflict or disagreement between the specifications or drawings, the Lessee is to be consulted as to which will prevail. Should anything be mentioned in these specifications and not shown in the drawings, or vice versa, the same shall be followed as if set forth in both, as it is the intent of these specifications and accompanying drawings to correspond and embody every item and part necessary for the completion of the building, ready for a supermarket operation.
1.1.6 Lessor shall deliver to Lessee "as-built" drawings showing all addenda revisions, changes necessitated by field conditions and other deviations. "As-built" drawings shall be one set sepia reproducibles.
1.1.7 Lessee reserves the right to review building plans and such review must be secured before construction of the building is started.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. All work done and materials furnished under this Contract shall be in accordance with the Contract Plans: The Instructions to the Bidders: The General Conditions: Parts I and II, The Specific Conditions, Technical Specification, and Form 408 reference sections of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications, dated 2003 with the supplements thereto and revisions thereof included in these specifications. When a section and/or sections referred to were written completely in these specifications except that, in the event any contradiction exists between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications and any part of the Contract Documents, the Contract Documents shall govern and the conditions thereof adhered to. The intent of the specifications and drawings is to prescribe a complete work which the Contractor undertakes to do in full compliance with the Contract Documents. If there is any apparent contradiction or ambiguity between the drawings and specifications, the Contractor shall bring the fact to the attention of the Engineer and shall obtain his decision as to the true meaning or intention before proceeding with the portion of the work affected. Wherever in the specifications or drawing “directed”, “required”, “ordered” or words of similar import are used, it shall be understood that directed, required, ordered, by the Engineer is intended. In like manner when “as shown”, “as directed”, as detailed”, or words of similar import are used in the specifications, reference to the Contract Drawings listed in the Schedule of Drawings is intended.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. The intent of the Plans and Specifications is to prescribe a complete Work or improvement, which the Contractor shall perform in a manner acceptable to the Owner’s Representative and the Design Engineer and in full compliance with the terms of the Contract. The Contractor shall provide the Owner with a complete and operable Work or improvement in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and other Contract Documents. The Notice Inviting Bids, Instructions for Bidders, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Specifications, Plans and all supplementary documents are intended to be complete and complementary and to prescribe a complete Work. If any omissions are made of information necessary to carry out the full intent and meaning of the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall immediately call the matter to the attention of the Design Engineer for furnishing of detailed instructions. Any drawings or plans listed anywhere in the Specifications or Addenda thereto shall be regarded as a part thereof and of the Contract. Anything mentioned in these Specifications and not indicated on the Plans, or anything indicated on the Plans and not mentioned in these Specifications, shall have the same force and effect and be deemed included in the Contract as if indicated or mentioned in both.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. The Contractor shall keep on the job a copy of the Plans and Specifications and shall at any time give the City Manager or designee access thereto. Anything mentioned in the Specifications and not shown on the Plans or shown on the Plans and not mentioned in the Specifications, shall be of like effect as if shown or mentioned in both. The Contractor shall not take advantage of any errors, discrepancies or omissions that may exist in the Plans and Specifications but shall immediately call them to the attention of the City Manager or designee whose interpretation or correction thereof shall be conclusive. Should a conflict occur between the General Specifications and any Supplemental Specifications and/or Plans, the latter shall govern.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. It is the intent of these Plans and Specifications and the contract drawings that the work performed under the Agreement shall result in a complete operating system in satisfactory working condition with respect to the functional purposes of the installation, and no extra compensation will be allowed for anything omitted but fairly implied. The prices paid for the various items shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, overhead, profit, and doing all work necessary to complete the finished product as provided in the Plans and Specifications. The Plans and Specifications and the contract drawings are intended to be explanatory of each other. Any work shown on the contract drawings and not in the Plans and Specifications, or vice versa, is to be executed as if indicated in both.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. It is intended that the plans and specifications shall include all work necessary for the proper completion of the work. The Contractor shall comply with the obvious intent and meaning of these specifications which shall be construed to include all labor and materials, measures and modes of work necessary to complete work herein specified in a workmanlike manner and to the satisfaction of the RCUH. In case of any discrepancy in the plans and specification, the matter shall be immediately submitted to the RCUH without whose decision said discrepancy shall not be adjusted by the Contractor.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. It is intended that the drawings and specifications include everything necessary to finish the entire work properly, notwithstanding that every necessary item involved is not particularly mentioned. All work when finished shall be delivered in a complete and undamaged state and in proper working order. It is the intent of the specifications, together with the plans, that sufficient detail and information have been furnished for the complete prosecution of the work. Any inadvertent omission, which by virtue of common sense should be incorporated in the work to make it function completely ready for use, shall be considered as being understood to be included in the Contract.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. The intent of the plans and specifications is to provide for the construction and completion of every detail of the work described therein. It shall be understood that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, tools, transportation, and supplies required for all or any part of the work to make each item complete in accordance with the spirit of the contract. It is understood that the apparent silence of the specifications as to any detail or the apparent omission of a detailed description concerning any point shall be regarded as meaning that only the best general practice is to prevail and that only materials and workmanship of the first quality are to be used.
INTENT OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. The intent of the Plans and Specifications is to prescribe the details for the construction and completion of the Work, which the CONTRACTOR agrees to perform in accordance with the terms of the Contract. Where the Plans and Specifications describe portions of the Work in general terms, but not in complete detail, it is understood that only the best general practice is to prevail and that only materials and workmanship of the first quality are to be used. Unless otherwise specified, CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals, and do all the Work involved in executing the Contract in a satisfactory and expert manner. The Work performed under the Contract shall result in a complete operating system in satisfactory working condition with respect to the functional purposes of the installation, and no extra compensation will be allowed for anything omitted but fairly implied.
