Jewish Holidays. Members of the Jewish Faith may absent themselves from school on Xxxx Xxxxxxxx and Yom Kippur for the number of days required for purposes of religious observance at no loss of pay.

Jewish Holidays. It is agreed that Jewish professional staff members may take the day off in observance of the Jewish Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. In exchange they will work one day prior to the start of the normal school year, or use their professional improvement day as compensation for one day, or report to work two days prior to the start of the normal school year.

The Executive’s holiday entitlement shall be pro rated for the year in which the Employment begins and for the year in which the Employment ends.
