Land Use Plans. 6.3.1 A land use plan shall be a document containing text, schedules, figures and maps for the establishment of objectives and guidelines for short-term and long-term development, taking into account factors such as the following:
(a) demographic considerations;
(b) the natural resource base and existing patterns of natural resource use;
(c) economic opportunities and needs;
(d) transportation and communication services and corridors;
(e) energy requirements, sources and availability;
(f) community infrastructural requirements, including health, housing, education and other social services;
(g) environmental considerations, including Protected Areas, as defined in Article 11, and wildlife habitat;
(h) cultural factors and priorities, including the protection and preservation of archaeological sites and outpost camps, as the latter term is defined in the NLCA; and
(i) special local and regional considerations.
6.3.2 The purpose of a land use plan shall be to protect and promote the existing and future well-being of those persons and communities resident in or using of the NMR, taking into account the interests of all Canadians, and to protect, and where necessary, to restore the environmental integrity of the NMR.
6.3.3 A land use plan shall contain an implementation strategy.

c) economic opportunities and needs;
d) transportation and communication services and corridors;
e) energy requirements, sources and availability;
f) community infrastructural requirements, including health, housing, education and other social services;
g) environmental considerations, including Protected Areas , Marine Protected Areas and Wildlife habitat;
h) cultural factors and priorities, including the protection and preservation of Archaeological Sites; and
i) special local and regional considerations.
8.3.2 The purpose of a land use plan shall be to protect and promote the existing and future well-being of residents of the EMR and of the coastal Cree communities of Eeyou Istchee taking into account the interests of all Canadians, and to protect, and where necessary, to restore the environmental integrity of the EMR.
8.3.3 A land use plan shall contain an implementation strategy.
Land Use Plans. The Board shall develop and recommend any one or more of a Basic Planning Statement, a Development Plan and(or) other land use plan for the Resource Management Area, or any part thereof, for the purpose of determining and guiding development policies and decisions. Any such statement or plan may include provisions:
a) for the zoning of lands and waters for purposes of establishing and regulating activities thereon;
b) for the preservation, protection and management of Fish and Wildlife, including the regulation of habitat for such purposes; for policies under which any Trapper or Commercial Fisherman may exercise the right to utilize unoccupied provincial Crown land within the Resource Management Area, to
c) construct and(or) personally occupy a cabin or shelter for purposes of trapping within a Registered Trapline, commercial fishing or hunting, without first obtaining a land use permit, and the means by which such uses shall be recorded for administrative purposes;
d) dealing with any matter arising out of, or ancillary to, the above matters; and,
e) giving a role to the Board in the administration of the statement or plan.
Land Use Plans. The Board shall develop and recommend any one or more of a Basic Planning Statement, a Development Plan and(or) other land use plan for the Resource Management Area, or any part thereof, for the purpose of determining and guiding development policies and decisions. a. for the zoning of lands and waters for purposes of establishing and regulating activities thereon; b.for the preservation, protection and management of Fish and Wildlife, including the regulation of habitat for such purposes;
Land Use Plans. The existing Land Use Plans will be updated to depict existing and recommended uses of all land within the ultimate airport property line (on-airport) and within the vicinity of the Airport (off- airport). This will include area surrounding the Airport that falls within the existing Airport Influence Area as well as consideration of recent development proposals west of the Airport. Land uses will be depicted by general land use categories, including such categories as agriculture, residential, industrial, commercial, parks and open space, aviation-related, public, floodplains, DOT Section 4(f) resources, among others as appropriate, but including special note of noise sensitive uses. Places of public assembly will be denoted, including churches, schools and parks. In addition, local zoning restrictions that are in place to protect the airport and surrounding airspace will be listed. Existing and future noise contours from the 2007 ALP Update will be used for the on-airport land use plan. The existing DNL 65 noise contour will be shown on the On-Airport Land Use Drawing. A note will be included describing the source of the noise contour. This Study will not develop new noise contours. The Land Use Plan will be illustrated on the same sheet size as the ALP and as described within the body of the Airport Master Plan document. In accordance with FAA SOP 3.00, Standard Operating Procedure for FAA Review of Exhibit “A” Airport Property Inventory Maps, an Exhibit ‘A’ Airport Property Inventory Map will be updated using the existing Airport Property Map, as well as any other existing or supplemental property and/or easement information supplied by the Airport. This scope of services does not include significant title or parcel research or title commitment work and will not incorporate any property/parcel information other than that provided by Airport or other secondary sources. However, a small amount of research will be conducted by the Consultant team related to release parcels that may not be officially or properly recorded by Pueblo County. For appropriate property boundary description information (i.e. metes and bounds, township/range/section, lot and block, plat or other appropriate property description), this information will be provided to the Consultant by the Airport.
Land Use Plans. The Norway House Resource Management Board shall develop and recommend land use plans for the Norway House Resource Management Area, or any part thereof, which, without limitation, may include provision for:
a. zoning lands;
b. prescribing areas of land or bodies of waters for purposes of regulating use and activities thereon;
c. prescribing and regulating land uses;
Land Use Plans. This task provides the framework for making decisions regarding future land development at BQK by identifying the highest and best land use by major development components. Two draft land use development options will be developed for discussion purposes. The purpose of this exercise is to identify the highest and best land uses by major component and to test the balance between the major aeronautical components and areas for potential future non-aeronautical land-uses.
Land Use Plans. (a) The City will prepare and adopt the following Land Use Plans by the dates set out beside each Land Use Plan below, each of which will incorporate land uses and densities supportive of rapid transit and that meet the objectives of the Regional Growth Strategy:
(i) City Core 2050 – initiate in 2018, complete by the end of 2021;
(ii) Broadway Planning – initiate in 2018, complete by the end of 2021;
(iii) Vancouver Employment Lands Study – initiate in 2018, complete by the end of 2019; (collectively, the “Land Use Plans”).
(b) As a component of each Land Use Plan and upon the same timeline as set out for each respective Land Use Plan, the City will prepare forecasts for population, number of dwelling units and employment for the years 2025, 2030, 2035, 2040 and 2045 for:
(i) the area within 400 metres in any direction of the MLBE Corridor;
(ii) the area within 800 metres in any direction of the MLBE Corridor; and
(iii) traffic zones used in the March 2018 Project business case transit ridership modelling.
(c) The City will collaborate with TransLink and the Province on the development of the Land Use Plans to achieve integrated land use and transportation planning, recognizing that it is the City’s responsibility and mandate under the Vancouver Charter to develop and approve its land use plans and its housing policies.
(d) TransLink will:
(i) collaborate with the City on development of Land Use Plans with a view to achieving the greatest possible land use and transportation integration and in particular with respect to the definition of growth forecasts that best support ridership in the MLBE Corridor;
(ii) conduct a review of current transit (bus and rapid transit) operations and service plans to anticipate and respond to population and employment changes in the MLBE Corridor; and
(iii) contribute technical information and analysis to the planning processes, as appropriate.
Land Use Plans. (a) The City will prepare and adopt the following Land Use Plans by the dates set out beside each Land Use Plan below, each of which will incorporate land uses and densities supportive of rapid transit and that meet the objectives of the Regional Growth Strategy, including the dwelling unit and employment growth targets included therein at Table 2 for Surrey Metro Centre:
(i) Guildford Town Centre and 000 Xxxxxx Corridor (the “Guildford Land Use Plan”) – complete by the end of 2019;
(ii) Xxxxxx Town Centre Plan Update– complete by the end of 2019;
(iii) Review of the Surrey City Centre Plan in relation to the implementation of the Project – completed before the commencement of construction for the Project; and
(iv) King Xxxxxx Xxxx Corridor Plan– complete by the end of 2023 (collectively, the “Land Use Plans”).
(b) As a component of each Land Use Plan and upon the same timeline as set out for each respective Land Use Plan, the City will prepare urban development targets and growth forecasts consistent with the Regional Growth Strategy including the targets set out at Table 2 thereof, for population, number of dwelling units and employment for each year from the year in which Opening Day occurs to the year 2045 for:
(i) the area within 400 metres in any direction of the SNG Transit Corridor;
(ii) the area within 800 metres in any direction of the SNG Transit Corridor;
(iii) Guildford Town Centre, Xxxxxx Town Centre, and Surrey City Centre; and
(iv) traffic zones used in the January 2018 Project business case transit ridership modelling.
(c) The City will collaborate with TransLink and the Province on the development of the Land Use Plans to achieve integrated land use and transportation planning, recognizing that it is the City’s responsibility and mandate under the Local Government Act to develop and approve its land use plans and its housing policies. The City’s collaboration with TransLink and the Province will in particular focus on the definition and progress of growth targets that best support ridership in the SNG Transit Corridor.
(d) TransLink will collaborate with the City and the Province to develop the Land Use Plans with a view to achieving the greatest possible land use and transportation integration, with a particular focus on the definition and progress of growth targets that best support ridership in the SNG Transit Corridor.
Land Use Plans. The Fox Lake Resource Management Board will develop and recommend Land Use Plans for the Fox Lake Resource Management Area, or any part thereof, which, without limitation, may include provision for:
(a) zoning lands;
(b) prescribing areas of land or bodies of waters for purposes of regulating use and activities thereon;
(c) prescribing and regulating land uses;
(d) establishing administrative arrangements for the construction or occupation of cabins or shelters;
(e) recognizing and preserving areas of ecological, cultural or historical significance;
(f) resolving conflicting uses of land; and
(g) the implementation of a Land Use Plan.
