Length of the Contract Year. Subd. 1 The length of the contract year for a given partial-year principal shall be noted explicitly when the job is posted and in any subsequent contractual agreement between the individual and the District. An individual hired under a given partial-year schedule shall not be assigned to a work-year schedule containing fewer days during the course of a given work-year, unless by mutual consent. Should an assistant principal role need to be recategorized to a lesser work-year, the incumbent will be given notice of at least 90 days prior to the end of the school year. In advancing horizontally, hours must be either graduate hours or undergraduate hours that apply to or are directly related to the teacher's contract assignments. Undergraduate hours must be approved in advance by the superintendent. Teachers, as professional educators, have the expertise and background knowledge to provide desired assistance and recommendations to the administration regarding the selection and use of curriculum materials and work related to accreditation so as to best carry out those programs approved by the Board of Education. It is thus considered that every professional employee assume the responsibility of acting in an advisory capacity to the Board and administration through committees, individual conferences, or other groups as requested by the administration in order to provide improved and relevant curriculum materials. A joint district health insurance committee will be created to make recommendations to the bargaining teams. The committee will be comprised of two members of the negotiating team, the superintendent, the board clerk, and one classified employee. The findings from the district health insurance committee will become recommendations to the Board. The Board will make final determinations regarding district health insurance.

  • Contract Year A twelve (12) month period during the term of the Agreement commencing on the Effective Date and each anniversary thereof.

  • Length of School Year 4.6.1 Except where reduced by any lawful decision of the employer to close the school to students, the length of the school year for each school shall be determined according to the requirement that schools are required to be open for at least 380 half days in any one calendar year. 4.6.2 The normal teaching load of teachers in respect of any one year is therefore related to that requirement.

  • Length of Term The term of this Agreement shall extend from the Effective Date through May 8, 2014 (“Term”) unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms herein.   • Length of Work Year 1. The length of the work year for custodians, accountants, (excluding school lunch accountant), personnel specialist, maintenance, maintenance helpers, mechanics, purchasing coordinator, county receptionist, warehouse and property records coordinator shall be twelve months. 2. The length of the work year for attendance assistant and bus drivers shall be 188 days. 3. The length of the work year for school food service shall be 194 days.

  • Extended Reporting Period If any required insurance coverage is on a claims-made basis (rather than occurrence), Contractor shall maintain such coverage for a period of no less than three (3) years following expiration or termination of the Contract.

  • Length of Probationary Period For all classifications, with the exception of those specified in 1801-B, the probationary period is 1,040 compensable hours exclusive of overtime. If federal, state or local law requires a longer probationary period, such law shall prevail. The probationary period for a less than full time employee shall equal the same number of hours (1,040) that have to be served by a full-time employee.

  • Extended Illness Sick leave for extended illness (5 or more days) will be paid only during the time period in which a physician certifies the employee to be physically or mentally disabled, and only to the extent of the number of days accumulated.

  • INTERIM MAINTENANCE PERIOD During the interim maintenance period between obtaining of the completion certificate of such Project and formation and operationalization of the Association the Promoter shall through itself or through a facility management company to run, operate, manage and maintain the Common Areas. The Promoter shall endeavour that the committee responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Common Areas will be required to provide manpower for maintaining the Common Areas, wherever required, and to collect maintenance charges and also guest charges and the user charges for the utilities being provided on “pay by use” basis, if any. The maintenance and management of Common Areas by the committee will primarily include but not limited to maintenance of water works, common electrical installations, DG Sets, landscaping, driveways, parking areas, lobbies, lifts and staircases, AMC’s etc. It will also include safety and security of the Project such as fire detection and protection and management of general security control of the Project. The Rules/ Bye Laws to regulate the use and maintenance of the Common Areas shall during the interim maintenance period shall be framed by the Promoter with such restrictions as may be necessary for proper maintenance and all the Allottees are bound to follow the same. After the Common Areas of the Project are handed over to the Association, the Association may adopt the Rules and the Bye laws framed by the Promoter, with or without amendments, as may be deemed necessary by the Association.
