Level One – Immediate Supervisor a. Any member or members of the unit may present his/her grievance to his/her immediate supervisor. Such grievance shall be in writing and must state specifically (1) that the grievance procedure is being invoked; (2) the nature of the grievance; (3) the specific terms of the contract on which the grievance is based. The grieving employee may appear alone or with a representative of the bargaining unit.

Level One – Immediate Supervisor. If the Immediate Supervisor’s informal response is not satisfactory, a formal grievance may be filed within ten (10) days of such informal meeting. A formal conference shall be held within five (5) days from the receipt of such written grievance. The purpose of such conference shall be to seek a positive and constructive disposition of the grievance. Any mutual agreement as to the disposition of the grievance shall be in writing. The Immediate Supervisor shall respond in writing within ten (10) days from the date of the formal conference.
