Lieu of Overtime. An employee may, with the consent of management, elect to take time off in lieu of overtime worked to care for an immediate family member or partner. ❑ Make up Time. An employee may, with the consent of management, elect to take off ordinary hours to care for an immediate family member or partner and work them at a later time during the spread of hours in this agreement, at the ordinary rate of pay.

Lieu of Overtime. (xiii) In lieu of receiving payment for overtime in accordance with this clause 19, where the employer and employee mutually agree, an employee may be compensated by way of time off in lieu of overtime on the following basis:
Lieu of Overtime. When an employee is requested to work overtime, instead of cash payment for overtime, the employee may choose to receive time off at the appropriate overtime rate at a mutually agreed time between the employee and the Employer. Should agreement not be reached as to when the employee shall take time off, the time off shall be added to the employee's annual vacation entitlement for that vacation year. The decision to be paid or take time in lieu shall be made at the time overtime is requested. In no event shall accumulated time exceed five (5) working days as defined by the employee's letter of employment.
Lieu of Overtime. 26.1 By mutual agreement between the employee and the supervisor, time in lieu of overtime may be accumulated. Such time in lieu shall be calculated at the rate applicable to the overtime worked and will not normally exceed five (5) days accrual in a calendar year.

Lieu of Overtime. Employees who work overtime will not be required to take off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within sixty (60) calendar days.

  • Payment of Overtime 5.5.1 Subject to the provisions of this sub-clause, all work performed outside of the ordinary hours of any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, will be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter. Casual Employees will be entitled to the appropriate all- purpose penalty rates and their 25% casual loading as identified in clause 2.1.2.

  • Equalization of Overtime To the extent possible, consistent with current practice, voluntary overtime opportunities shall be distributed equally among qualified volunteers with similar skills and duties. The employer will attempt to meet overtime needs by first soliciting volunteers prior to making assignments. It is understood that soliciting volunteers may not be appropriate in emergency situations (including short-notice absences). Section Six. (a) Effective 7/1/95, employees who are assigned to a fixed duty station and have previously been receiving portal to portal pay, shall have the benefit of counting their travel time to and from the fixed duty station limited to one-half (1/2) hour each way.

  • Banking of Overtime (i) Tour Workers who work in excess of eight (8) consecutive hours shall have the option of receiving the overtime premium on the basis of this Section or of receiving straight time for hours in excess of eight (8) consecutive hours and taking equivalent time off in units of not less than four (4) hours at the hourly rate for the job when the work was performed, at a time suitable to the employee and the Company during the contract year. Any overtime remaining at the end of the contract year in which it is banked may be carried over to the next contract year for purposes of taking equivalent time off. If equivalent time off is not taken by the end of the contract year following the contract year in which it is earned, the Company shall pay the deferred one-half premium pay. Tour Workers who choose to bank overtime may later re-elect to receive the deferred one-half premium pay.
