The employer shall state in advance the length and scheduling of long breaks as exactly as the circumstances permit. Long breaks may be replaced with meal breaks at the workplace. Such meal breaks are part of working hours. The employer shall organise the work such that the employee is able to take the necessary short breaks in addition to the long breaks.
