Meal Break during Overtime. An employee who works overtime beyond a regular shift shall be allowed a suitable hot meal and one hour paid meal period in which to eat the meal at his/her straight time hourly rate of pay provided such overtime is in excess of two (2) hours work. The meal period may be taken before, during or after the overtime work as may be mutually agreed.

Meal Break during Overtime. If the period of overtime is more than 1.5 hours after working ordinary hours an Employee, before starting such overtime, will be allowed a meal break of 20 minutes which will be paid at ordinary time.
Meal Break during Overtime. Where overtime exceeding one hour is to be worked a meal break for tea of thirty minutes shall be allowed between 5 pm and 7 pm; provided that a majority of employees may arrange with the company for all employees to continue to work for more than two hours beyond their usual finishing time without such meal break. An employee, called upon to work during their meal break for tea, shall be paid at the rate of time and a half. (iii) Rest Period A rest period of ten minutes shall be allowed for all employees in the first half of the shift, with a further rest period of 10 minutes to be taken in the second half of the shift and will count as time worked. Such rest pauses shall be taken at times which will not interfere with the continuity of work where continuity is necessary. The ten minute rest period in the second half of the shift will generally commence ten minutes before finish time. The provision is already reflected in start and finish times.
Meal Break during Overtime. (a) Day Worker (1) Subject to sub-clause 24.4(a)(2) a day worker required to work overtime of at least one and a half hours but not more than four hours duration which is continuous with the ordinary working hours, shall be allowed a meal break of thirty minutes which shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half. Such break shall be taken: (A) before starting such overtime, if the overtime is at the conclusion of the ordinary working time; or (B) either during or at the conclusion of such overtime, if the overtime is immediately before the ordinary working time. The time of taking this meal break may be changed by mutual agreement between the Company and the employee or employees. (2) A day worker working overtime (including overtime on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday) shall be allowed a meal break of thirty minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked where the overtime is to be continued after such meal break.
Meal Break during Overtime. 1Any employee who on any day is required to remain at work or to return to work after the usual finishing time will, when that additional work necessitates taking a meal away from the employees place of residence, be supplied with a suitable meal by the employees employer or be paid a meal allowance in accordance with the Meal Allowance in Schedule 3 which must be paid to the employee on the next day.
Meal Break during Overtime. 18.5.7.1 An employee required to work overtime must be allowed a meal break of at least twenty minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee continues work after such meal break. 18.5.7.2 Unless the period of overtime is less than 1½ hours, an employee, before starting overtime after working ordinary hours, must be allowed a meal break of twenty minutes which will be paid for at ordinary rates. The Service and the employee may agree to any variation of this provision to meet the circumstances of the work provided that the Service will not be required to make any payment of any time allowed in excess of twenty minutes. 18.5.7.3 Any employee who on any day is required to remain at work or to return to work after the usual finishing time will, when that additional work necessitates taking a meal away from the employee’s place of residence, be supplied with a suitable meal by the Service or be paid a meal allowance in accordance with the Meal Allowance in Schedule 4 which must be paid to the employee in the next pay period.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours Solicitation of Union membership or collection or checking of dues will not be conducted during working time. The Company agrees not to discriminate in any way against any employee for Union activity, but such activity shall not be carried on during working time, except as specifically allowed by the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Refund During Cooling-Off Period The PEI will provide the Student with a cooling-off period of seven (7) working days after the date that the Contract has been signed by both parties. The Student will be refunded the highest percentage (stated in Schedule D) of the fees already paid if the Student submits a written notice of withdrawal to the PEI within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether the Student has started the course or not.

  • Death During Benefit Period If the Executive dies after the benefit payments have commenced under this Agreement but before receiving all such payments, the Company shall pay the remaining benefits to the Executive's beneficiary at the same time and in the same amounts they would have been paid to the Executive had the Executive survived.

  • Employment During Unpaid Maternity Leave Where less than the 52 weeks Other Parent Leave is taken paid or unpaid, the unused portion of the leave cannot be banked or preserved in any way.

  • Death During Active Service If the Executive dies while in the active service of the Company, the Company shall pay to the Executive's beneficiary the benefit described in this Section 3.1. This benefit shall be paid in lieu of the Lifetime Benefits of Article 2.

  • Partial Disposal During Term of Service Agreement Throughout the Term of the Service Agreement, LEA may request partial disposal of Student Data obtained under the Service Agreement that is no longer needed. Partial disposal of data shall be subject to LEA’s request to transfer data to a separate account, pursuant to Article II, section 3, above.

  • Sick Leave During Leave of Absence (F/T) When an Employee is given leave of absence without pay for any reason, or is laid off on account of lack of work, he/she shall not continue to accumulate sick leave and shall not be entitled to receive pay for sickness for the period of such absence, but shall retain his/her cumulative credit, if any, existing at the time of such leave or lay-off.

  • Outside Activities During Employment Except with the prior written consent of the Board, you will not during the term of your employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which you are a passive investor. You may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of your duties hereunder. You agree not to acquire, assume or participate in, directly or indirectly, any position, investment or interest known to be adverse or antagonistic to the Company, its business or prospects, financial or otherwise.

  • Death During Employment If the Executive dies during the term of employment and has not attained the age of seventy years, the Corporation and/or any third party insurance provided by the Corporation, through a coordination of benefits, shall pay the estate of the Executive a death benefit equal to two times the Executive's annual salary. In the event the Executive receives death benefits payable under any group life insurance policy issued to the Corporation, the Corporation's liability under this clause will be reduced by the amount of the death benefit paid under such policy. The Corporation shall pay any remaining death benefits to the estate of the Executive over the course of twelve (12) months in the same manner and under the same terms as the Executive would have been paid if he had still been working for the Corporation. No later than one (1) month from the date of death, the estate of the Executive will also be paid any accumulated vacation pay. Such payments pursuant to this paragraph shall constitute the full compensation of said Executive and he and his estate shall have no further claim for compensation by reason of his employment by the Corporation.
