New Hire Wage Rate. Team Members shall receive the “New Hire” wage rate listed in Exhibit 1 according to the Team Member’s respective job classification for the first twelve (12) months of service (80%).
New Hire Wage Rate. Newly hired pick-up truck drivers after the signing of this agreement shall be paid $18.00 per hour effective June 1, 2009.
New Hire Wage Rate. Employees hired after the effective date of this Agreement
New Hire Wage Rate. New hires salary shall be $25,000, any new hire shall be considered to be a firefighter assigned within the department on in-service training. Upon completion of six (6) months, new hires shall advance to the First Step in the applicable salary guide referenced above.
1. Except as provided in Paragraphs C and D below salary for the purpose of this shall be the highest salary that a fireman is duly and properly authorized to receive at the beginning of each calendar year.
2. No increases will be effective for employees appointed after June 6, 1983 of this Agreement in the first year after their employment. All employees hired after this date will receive their annual increase on the date of their anniversary. Such employees will remain at the starting salary for a one-year period, with increase in salary and benefits to be effective on anniversary date of their employment. Employees hired after January 1, 2000 shall be under the New Hire rule as set forth in section B above.
3. Effective July 1, 2009, new hires with previous training experience will bypass “academy pay” and move immediately to the First (1st) Step of the applicable salary guide referenced above.
