Truck Drivers. In the event that the truck driver of a crew is required to work in excess of eight hours per day in connection with loading, unloading, and garaging trucks such excess time shall be considered as scheduled work time and shall be compensated for at the overtime rate.
Truck Drivers a) The Employer will develop and distribute to all drivers a set of guidelines clearly explaining the Employer’s expectations regarding the drivers’ activities on the dock and at the Center.
b) A joint committee comprised of management and employees who work on the dock will meet at the call of either party to discuss issues, identify potential improvements on the dock in the areas of safety, security and efficiency and recommend solutions to management. Management will meet with the committee to discuss any recommendations that it does not subsequently implement. A written agenda will be prepared, minutes will be written, including decisions, with a copy forwarded to the Employer’s Head Office.

Truck Drivers. Motor Carriers shall ensure that all truck drivers that drive Drayage Trucks operating and dispatched to the Port under its motor carrier permit (“Drivers”) are duly licensed with a valid commercial driver’s license and valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), and comply with all federal and state environmental, safety and security laws and regulations and Harbor Department Tariff and Concession requirements applicable to Drayage Truck drivers and shall maintain records of such licenses, credentials and compliance for all drivers it dispatches to the Port.

Truck Drivers. Truck Drivers will be allowed a seventy-five dollar ($75.00) cash advance in accordance with agreed upon rules. Truck Drivers on a return trip to Montreal, shall be allowed a flat rate of two hundred and fifty-five dollars ($255.00) to cover wages, meals and overnight accommodation. For each additional delivery in the Montreal area, the Company will pay an extra twenty-one dollars ($21.00). The Company agrees that if the tractor trailer driver on the Montreal run has to wait before unloading at the Montreal plant for over one (1) hour, then he will be paid at his straight time rate for his waiting time until unloading commences. The starting rate for an employee in an above classification shall be one dollar ($1.00) per hour less than the regular rate for that classification. With reference to a new classification which is not included in Schedule "A", the Company and the Union agree to negotiate the appropriate rate of pay. If the parties are unable to agree to the rate, their dispute may be the subject of a policy grievance. The jurisdiction of any arbitrator dealing with such a dispute shall be confined to an appropriate rate of pay based on internal comparison with other classifications in the bargaining unit. Employees in the production helper/labourer classification as of March 13, 1993, who were receiving the red-circled rate of pay under the most recent collective agreement as of the date of ratification of this collective agreement will receive the same percentage general wage increase as provided to other classifications effective on the same dates of such increases (upon ratification, Jan 12, 2013).

The Employer agrees that at no time will truck drivers be permitted to work in the sales area or in the stockroom of the store, except in the loading and unloading of trucks as noted below. The Union agrees that the long established method of receiving deliveries of produce is satisfactory to the Union. The Employer agrees, where food clerks are scheduled to work and are working in the stores and deliveries of merchandise are made from the grocery warehouse, that a food clerk shall:
(a) Designate the area where the merchandise is to be placed in the stockroom.
(b) Be present with the driver during loading and unloading of trucks.
