Notice of Leave of Absence. Upon notice of a leave of absence, the 22 Medical Center will demonstrate its commitment to adequate staffing 23 by posting any resulting shift vacancies necessary to maintain core 24 staffing prior to each scheduling posting or during the current schedule 25 period. If the period between notice and the next schedule posting is 26 less than seventy-two (72) hours, then the Employer shall comply with 27 the above within five (5) calendar days of the notice.
Notice of Leave of Absence. Upon notice of a leave of absence, the 16 Medical Center will demonstrate its commitment to adequate staffing by 17 posting any resulting shift vacancies prior to each schedule or during the 18 current schedule period.
Notice of Leave of Absence. The Company will furnish to the Union and the employee who is issued a leave of absence, a memo stating when the leave begins and when the leave is scheduled to end. When the Company extends a leave of absence, the Company will issue an updated memo reflecting the change.

Notice of Leave of Absence. The Regional Director may grant leave of absence with or without pay to any employee for a legitimate personal reason. Every application must be submitted within five (5) calendar days after the employee returns to work. An employee on a valid leave of absence shall not be considered to have been laid off and their seniority shall continue to accumulate during their absence. The Regional Director will not unreasonably deny a written request for an extension to a leave of absence.
