Unions Rights. An employee who requests time off for Union activities in addition to regular time off shall be granted such request if such time off will not inconvenience the operations of the Company or increase its operating expenses; provided further that such employee shall receive no compensation from the Company for such time off. The Union must apply in writing to the Company, five days prior, if practicable, of time being off by employee and state date, time, and how long the employee will be off for Union activities.

Unions Rights. 6.1. An employee who requests time off for the Union's activities in addition to regular time off shall be granted such request if such time off shall not inconvenience the operations of the District or increase its operating expenses; provided further, that such employee shall receive no compensation from the District for such time off, except as provided under 3505.3 of the California Government Code. 6.2. The District agrees to permit the Union to use reasonable space for the purpose of posting officially signed bulletins upon the bulletin boards which are furnished by the District. 6.3. The Union may designate Shop Stewards as it deems necessary for the proper administration of its affairs and for the proper execution of the provisions of this MOU. In those departments in which the Union deems it is necessary to maintain more than one Shop Xxxxxxx, a Chief Departmental Xxxxxxx shall be designated by the Union's Business Representative, with whom the District shall discuss items of mutual concern, other than specific grievance issues which any Shop Xxxxxxx may raise with their supervisor pursuant to Section 11.1(a). The Union Shop Xxxxxxx shall, on request to and permission from the General Manager, be allowed reasonable time during working hours without loss of pay to attend the Union matters which relate to employees covered under this MOU. 6.4. It is recognized the District has the right to contract work. However, the District agrees it shall not lay off employees as a result of work contracted. In case the District should contract any work, the District shall advise the contractor that certain working conditions and wages prevail in this area. All contractors and companies who contract with the District to provide services shall meet or exceed the requirements of the District’s Safety Rules. Unions Rights. (1) Authorized representatives of the District and the International will be allowed access to the PLANT property to insure compliance with this Agreement, after giving notice and their reason for seeking access. The President, International Vice Presidents, Field Representatives and International Safety Representatives and Secretary-Treasurer of the International Union will be granted access to the PLANT provided that such officials have given a minimum of 48 hours advance notification and reason of their desire to visit, provided there is no interference with production. The EMPLOYER shall provide candidates for UNION office reasonable opportunity to campaign among its Employees during their non-working hours and in non-working areas, provided there is no interference with production. The EMPLOYER further agrees to provide space on PLANT property for the holding of UNION elections and the ratification of collective bargaining agreements. However, the UNION agrees that there shall be no solicitation or UNION meetings or promotional UNION activity on PLANT time. (2) The Local Union President, Vice President, Financial Secretary, Recording Secretary and Employees who are either elected or appointed to the Joint Labor-Management Communications Committee, the Health and Safety Committee, and the Grievance Committee shall have the right of movement throughout the PLANT in the performance of their official duties, provided the UNION officials noted above do not unreasonably interfere with the production of Employees. Local Union Officers and committee member shall seek permission from their supervisor to leave their work area in order to meet their responsibilities as outlined within this Agreement. Permission will be granted unless there is a justifiable business reason for denying such permission. Once permission has been granted, the Employee will be paid their regular rate as long as the responsibilities are carried out during the Employee’s regular work hours. (3) UNION officials noted above in subsection (2), with proper advance notification to Human Resources, will be excused to participate in UNION activities. In cases where multiple UNION officials noted above in subsection (2) are requesting to be excused for multiple days, the request shall be submitted as far in advance as possible but no less than two (2) working days prior to the requested time off. Unions Rights. 4.1 If required in writing by the concerned staff, máximum two CAMS employees are entitled in each case of conflict to attend the meeting before dismissa! and other individual conflict. Employer will not deduct remuneration for the time spent at the meeting. In case that the conflict cannot be solved by the parties, both parties are entitled to request the presence of their lawyer in the meeting. 4.2 Employer shall not deduct remuneration of the 2 union leaders who particípate in the meeting with the Employer or with the related institutions for the resolution of any labor conflict. 4.3 In case of conflict between employee and Employer and if required, the Union and the Employer will organize such meeting as soon as possible in order to minimize trouble to operations. 4.4 The Employer must not interfere in the Union’s interna! affairs and gives to employees the free choice of union leaders. 4.5 Upon Union request and upon members written authorization, the Employer will deduct from the salary of employees Union members the Union fee and transfer it to Union bank account. The Union provides to the Employer the Union members ñame list and the list of Union members who authorize this deduction with their fingerprint and signature. 4.6 The Employer provides one table, six chairs and one board for the Union and worker representatives’ library. Union provides and files the national and international law books, health documents, and relevant books concerned with Union affairs in order that employees can read while out of their working hours. Employee can have access into this room. The unión shall be responsible for the usage of this room. 4.7 Employer shall provide per year a total of 12 days of paid leave per year for training for each Union. The attribution of “Union training leave” to which ever Union leader is done between Union leaders; the Employer shall not interfere.

The Company agrees to permit the Union to use reasonable space for the purpose of posting officially signed bulletins upon the bulletin boards which are furnished by the Company. 6.3. The Union may designate Shop Stewards as it deems necessary for the proper administration of its affairs and for the proper execution of the provisions of this Agreement. 6.4. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to limit the Company in the employment of such contract labor as, at the discretion of the Company may become necessary for the proper construction, installation, removal and maintenance of communication facilities owned, serviced, and/or operated by the Company for the renditions of proper and adequate communication service to the public. The Company by this Agreement, if, as a result thereof, it would become necessary to lay off or reduce the rate of pay of any such employee and in no case shall such work be let to contract under wages or conditions less favorable than prevailing Union wages and conditions in the area applicable to the type of work to be performed. However, the Company shall not enter into any contractual arrangement for the construction, installation, removal, and/or current maintenance of plant facilities that may result in the layoff or reduction to part-time of its employees customarily performing work of the same nature as that to be provided under the contractual arrangements, with the exception that the sale of plant in place may include removal by purchaser.
Unions Rights. SECTION 1: The Union agrees that, except as specifically provided by the terms and provisions of this Agreement, employees shall not be permitted to engage in Union activity on the County's time. a) Chief xxxxxxx and stewards shall suffer no loss of pay for time necessarily lost from their regularly scheduled working hours while presenting grievances as provided in the grievance procedure. The County will be notified of the names of all stewards and alternate stewards. SECTION 3: The County will provide a bulletin board in each of the following locations upon which the Union will be permitted to post notices concerning Union business and activities: Michigan Avenue Courthouse, Juvenile Home, Administrative Building, B&G Building, Park Maintenance Shop, Expo Center, Animal Services and Enforcement Office, County Jail Xxxxxx Building, Crosstown Courthouse, HCS-Xxxxxx Building, Gull Road Justice Complex, and Xxxxx Street Center.

Unions Rights. 1) The Union shall have the right to put forward applicants for consideration for employment at Bermuda College and to represent its Members on all matters pertaining to their employment. 2) The Board shall provide notice boards in a convenient place for the posting by accredited Union Officers of material and notices for the conduct of Union affairs. 3) The Board agrees that no employee shall be penalized, intimidated or coerced, including those holding positions of responsibility, by reason of being a member of the Union, or acting as an officer or representative of the Union. 4) In the interest of promoting harmonious labour relations, the Union and the College agree that the Chairperson of Division 14 of the BPSU needs to be readily available to assist employees and communicate with the College Executive. 5) The College, therefore, agrees to reduce the workload of the Chairperson of Division 14 of the BPSU by 20% during non-negotiating years and by 50% during negotiating years. 6) To be eligible for nomination as a shop xxxxxxx, employees must have successfully completed their probationary period. 7) In either case, the College employee serving as Chairperson shall continue to receive his/her full regular salary and all the benefits normally provided to all full- time employees.

Unions Rights. Upon default, the Credit Union may declare the entire unpaid principal balance of this Line of Credit and all accrued unpaid interest, together with any fees and costs, immediately due and payable without providing any notice to you. You further agree that you will pay this default amount. Upon default, the Credit Union may, at its option, increase the interest on this Line of Credit to the maximum permitted by applicable law. The interest rate will not exceed the maximum rate permitted by applicable law. You agree that the Credit Union may take whatever actions are necessary to collect the outstanding obligation owed. The Credit Union may hire or pay someone else to help collect this Agreement if you do not pay. You agree that you will pay the Credit Union any amount which includes the Credit Union's reasonable attorney's fees and legal expenses whether or not there is a law suit filed, including any reasonable attorney's fees and legal expenses incurred for bankruptcy proceedings, including efforts to modify or vacate any automatic stay in injunction as well as all fees incurred on appeal or any anticipated post-judgment collection services.
