Number of Leaves Authorized. Not more than one percent of all professional staff (in both units A and B combined) shall be granted a sabbatical leave during any given academic year. Requests for sabbatical of less than a full year shall be granted only upon showing of extraordinary circumstances. The BSC reserves the right to exceed the 1% limit for extraordinary circumstances as determined by the BSC.
Number of Leaves Authorized. A. The following number of sabbaticals may be granted each school year. Two (2) sabbaticals for one-half (1/2) year at full pay. One (1) sabbatical for a full year at full pay.
Number of Leaves Authorized. Not more than one (1) full year sabbatical leave will be granted to one (1) eligible Teacher.
Number of Leaves Authorized. Not more than one (1) teacher of all teachers in the system shall be granted sabbatical leave during any given academic year. Preference to be given to requests for full year sabbaticals.
Number of Leaves Authorized. Not more than two percent (2%) of the personnel eligible under this policy may be granted sabbatical leave for the same year. In granting such leaves of absence, due consideration shall be given to reasonable and equitable distribution of the applicants among the different schools and departments. In the event more than two percent (2%) of the eligible personnel of the system shall apply, applications for study, independent research and/or problem observation leaves will be given preferential treatment. At all times, the needs of the school system as a whole shall be paramount.
Number of Leaves Authorized. No more than eleven (11) teachers shall be granted Sabbatical Leave for the same semester.
Number of Leaves Authorized. Not more than two (2) percent of all the Teachers covered by this Agreement shall be granted sabbatical leave during any academic year. The number of persons eligible shall be rounded to the nearest whole number.
Number of Leaves Authorized. No more than one (l) Administrator shall be granted Sabbatical Leave for the same semester. The Board may, in its sole discretion, determine not to grant any Administrator a Sabbatical Leave for a given semester or school year.
Number of Leaves Authorized. Sabbatical leaves may be granted up to a maximum of one (1) teacher during any given semester.
