Professional Staff. A. 1. This Article shall apply to all members of the unit except teaching faculty, librarians, Demonstration Teachers and Demonstration Specialists —
Professional Staff. QUALIFICATIONS The RTC shall comply with requirements for professional staff qualifications stated in the TRICARE/CHAMPUS Standards for Residential Treatment Centers Serving Children and Adolescents with Mental Disorders and 32 CFR 199.6. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) shall have five years’ administrative experience in the field of mental health and shall possess a master’s degree in business administration, nursing, social work, or psychology, or meet similar educational requirements as prescribed by the Executive Director, TMA.
Professional Staff. The professional staff has the responsibility of carrying out the best possible program of education under the policies of the Board in order to provide a quality education for all pupils.
Professional Staff. QUALIFICATIONS The PHP shall comply with requirements for professional staff qualifications stated in the Standards for Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Programs.
(a) The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) shall have five years’ administrative experience and, effective October 1, 1997, shall possess a master’s degree in business administration, nursing, social work, or psychology, or meet similar educational requirements as prescribed by the Executive Director, TMA.
Professional Staff. For purposes of this Regulation, professional staff includes teachers, other certificated employees and those employed as administrators (certificated or non-certificated).
Professional Staff. Under this PA, Region 5 operates with limited external oversight. In order to successfully act on behalf of the SHPO and to maintain the trust of the XXXX, Xxxxxx 0 shall continually strive for a high level of professional capability. Region 5 is committed to employing a professional staff. In hiring new full time professional staff, Region 5 will follow Section 112(a)(1)(B) of the NHPA and emphasize the selection of candidates that meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards or the education and experience standards in Office of Personnel Management (OPM) X118 standards. Forests shall employ at least one full-time, permanent professional Heritage Program Manager. Forests which do not have the services of a professional Heritage Program Manager, either on staff or through arrangement with another Region 5 administrative unit, shall consult with the SHPO on all undertakings.
Professional Staff. (except those in the Talent Search) who work in excess of thirty-five (35) hours in a week will be given the excess time as compensatory time off at a time agreed upon by the Professional Staff and his/her supervisor, if the Professional Staff is working the 161.5 day calendar.
Professional Staff. 1. Employees shall be granted ten (10) paid days annually for absences due to personal illness. If not used, the ten (10) days or any portion thereof may be accumulated without limit as long as the employee is employed by the Board.
2. When an employee is absent from work, under this or any other Article contained herein, the employee must notify AESOP prior to the first day of absence.
3. Employees shall have accessibility to their accumulated number of sick days through KRONOS Employee Self-Service.
4. Employees who are absent for more than five (5) consecutive days must submit a physician's certificate stating the reasons for the absence.
5. Employees whose absences are suspicious, excessive, or constitute a pattern shall be warned. Such employees may be required to provide a doctor's certificate for subsequent absences after due warning.
6. Should an employee cease to be employed by the Board during the year, the employee shall be credited with one (1) day of sick leave for every nineteen (19) days, or major fraction thereof, of employment that year.
Professional Staff. The Board shall provide an unpaid leave of absence for up to ninety
Professional Staff. The Board will reimburse professional staff tuition charges for graduate courses taken at fully accredited colleges and universities. Such reimbursement shall be subject to the following requirements:
1. Prior written approval issued at the discretion of the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee shall be required for all courses that the employee submits for reimbursement. All courses must be education courses, courses taken for a new field of certification, or courses taken within a program for a higher degree in a certifiable area.
2. Reimbursement shall be made following the submission of a transcript showing evidence of successful course completion with a “B” grade or above, as well as evidence of payment for the course.
3. Reimbursement for graduate courses will be limited to 6 credits per year. The rate of payment will be up to the Pennsylvania State University graduate rate per semester hour. The maximum payment by the Board in any single year shall be limited to $275,000 in total.
4. Funding will be divided into two application periods. Approval under each deadline shall be made on a first-come, first-served basis. To be eligible for reimbursement courses must be completed between July 1 – June 30 the following year. The first application period shall open January 1 for funds available July 1 of the coming fiscal year. $175,000 shall be set aside for this application period and employees shall be limited to a maximum of three (3) credits for reimbursement. If the $175,000 should become encumbered, employees will be notified and there will be no wait list. However, if an approved course is not taken then funding for it will be added to the second application period. A second application period will begin September 30. $100,000 shall be set aside for this application period and employees may apply for up to six (6) credits for reimbursement. Once the total funding is encumbered, any additional applications will be wait-listed in the order they were received. The same employee may be approved under both deadlines for a different course(s) but total reimbursement will be limited to six (6) credits per year.
5. During the term of the contract, the district will reimburse employees for costs associated with taking PRAXIS exams if done so at the district’s request.
6. Subject to the maximum payment by the Board in B.3, during the term of the contract, the District will reimburse teachers up to twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) for application...
