Officers and Duties. There shall be 4 Officers of the Student Club consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Their duties are as follows: The President shall convene regularly scheduled Student Club meetings, shall preside or arrange for other Student Club Members to preside at each meeting in the following order: Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Vice President will chair committees on special subjects as designated by the Student Club Members. The Secretary shall be responsible for keeping records of Student Club actions, including overseeing the taking of minutes at all Student Club meetings, sending out meeting announcements, distributing copies of minutes and the agenda to each Student Club Member. The Treasurer shall make a report at each Student Club meeting. Treasurer shall chair the finance committee, assist in the preparation of the budget, help develop fundraising plans, and make financial information available to the Student Club Members and the public.

Their duties are as follows: The chair shall act as chair of the VCS Board of Directors and exercise the functions of the office of the chair of the corporation; preside at all meeting of the VCS Board of Directors; perform such duties and shall exercise such powers as are necessary or incident to the supervision and management of the business and affairs of the corporation; sign and deliver, in the name of the corporation, all deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts or other instruments requiring an officer’s signature unless otherwise directed by the board; have the general powers and duties usually vested in the office of chair; and have such other powers and perform such other duties as are prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, Section 317A.305, subd. 2, and as the VCS Board of Directors.

(7) In addition to the principal’s duties as co-chair of the SGT, the principal is ultimately responsible to the superintendent and the FCBE for the operational and academic progress of the school. While the principal serves on the SGT as co-chair and has voting rights, the principal may also veto any recommendation that is in conflict with the Code of Ethics of Educators, federal or state law, FCBE policy, or any recommendation which the principal, in their professional expertise and judgment, does not believe to be in the best interest of the students and the greater learning community. The non-principal co-chair shall be elected by the SGT at the first meeting of the SGT following the election of SGT members. The SGT chairperson shall have the following duties pertaining to SGT activities: (1) In the absence of the Principal, shall preside at SGT meetings; (2) Xxxxx be responsible for signing the required affidavit on each occasion the SGT elects to close a meeting and enter into executive session. Officers and Duties. The Governing Board will elect a President from among the Governing Board Members who will serve for a period of one year or until a successor has been elected. The Treasurer will provide accountability for all expenditures, assets, fees, grants or other monies that occur as a product or by-product of the implementation or use of the St. Louis Virtual Campus. The Treasurer will be responsible for maintaining the Official Record of Districts’ Contributions to the St. Louis Virtual Campus, in which all Districts’ financial contributions are recorded.

Officers and Duties. The officers of the COMMISSION shall consist of a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a Secretary, a Treasurer and such subordinate officers as may from time to time be elected or appointed by the COMMISSION. The Vice Chairman shall serve, and may also be known, as the Chair-Elect. No person may hold more than one office; provided, however, that the offices of the Secretary and the Treasurer may be held by the same person. All offices must be held by members of the COMMISSION; provided, however, the offices of Secretary and Treasurer may be held by persons who are not members of the COMMISSION. The office of Chairman shall be held by a member of the Governing Body of the Subdivision he or she represents. The offices of Chairman and Vice-Chairman shall be held by members representing different Subdivisions. Each of such officers shall serve without compensation.
