Pager Pay. 1. In order to fulfill the objectives of the Department and to properly complete crime scene investigations in a timely manner, it is necessary that members of the Detective Section be available by telephone and/or pager on a rotating basis.
2. Detectives Assigned to General Investigations To compensate such employees required to periodically carry a pager, employees assigned to General Investigations within the Detective Section shall receive a salary adjustment of two percent (2%) per pay period.
Pager Pay. All off duty employees as determined by mutual agreement who are required to wear a pager for the purpose of responding to the needs of the Fire Service, shall be remunerated at the rate of $1.00 per off duty hour and ensure they are available.
Pager Pay.
(A) Each employee, required by the District Attorney, to be available by pager, shall receive one half (½) hour pay for each required day.

Pager Pay. All employees shall receive two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour when on pager duty. Employees on pager duty who are called to work shall be paid at regular pay, with a minimum of one (1) hour pay. No reporting bonus shall be paid.
Pager Pay. Employees who are authorized by the Department Head or his/her designate to carry the pager (standby for extra duty) and who are qualified to perform the work shall be paid as follows:
1. To be paid two (2) hours for sixteen (16) non-working hours on a weekday, but no standby if the employee is called out during the sixteen (16) hour period.
2. To be paid the equivalent of four (4) hours pay of their base rate for a twenty-four (24) hour period on the weekends and statutory holidays. If an employee on standby during this period is called out, he/she shall be paid at overtime rates for the actual hours worked. Weekend and statutory holidays shall be calculated from 0800 hours of the first day to 0800 hours of the second day.
3. Pager hours will be reported to the payroll department on a biweekly basis. Pager pay will be included on the paycheque for the pay period in which the pager hours have been reported. Pager pay may not be banked for payment and pager pay may not be taken as time off in lieu. Consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs, or being under the influence of these substances while on Park duty – including Pager Standby – is prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
Pager Pay. Any employee, except a regular lead or assistant lead, requested to be available for a will-call or carry a signal device home, shall be paid one (1) hour at double the employee’s established hourly rate for the calendar day of availability.
Pager Pay. Effective the first full pay period following Port Commission approval of the CBA, any employee requested to remain available for call out in place of shift coverage shall be paid one (1) hour at double the employee’s established hourly rate per shift covered.

Pager Pay. Any other cash earnings. Employees hired after March 1, 2007 and those employees who choose to forego the employee discount will receive a Company match of $1 for each $1 up to 6% of qualified earnings. All new hires will automatically enroll at 6% of qualified earnings. Employees who have retained their employee discount will receive a match of $.50 for each dollar the employee contributes up to six (6) percent of qualified earnings.
