Peer Teaching Observations a. Each non-tenured faculty member will be observed at least once during each academic semester for a minimum of eight (8) observations (including the chair observation) in the first four (4) years with at least one (1) observation from outside the department. The failure of any peer member to complete or participate in an observation shall not affect the validity of the College’s evaluation nor shall it interfere with the College’s right and ability to make a determination and take action. Tenured members of the candidate's academic department shall observe the candidate at least once before the tenure decision, but the tenure decision will not be affected if a tenured faculty member does not complete a teaching observation. Peer observers and the class (es) to be observed will be selected by mutual agreement between the faculty member and the Department Chair.   • Formal Observations 1. A minimum of two (2) formal observations shall be conducted to support the final summative evaluation. All formal observations shall last a minimum of thirty (30) consecutive minutes and will take place between September 15 and April 30.   • Informal Observations A. An informal observation is an observation that is not required to be pre-scheduled.

  • Informal Observation Additional evaluation of employees may occur through informal observations by the Employer. It may not be necessary to reduce such evaluations to writing, and a verbal discussion between the Employer and the employee concerning the informal observations may suffice. If a written evaluation is deemed necessary, Procedures C and D as outlined above shall be followed.

  • Additional Information for Product Development Projects Outcome of product development efforts, such copyrights and license agreements. • Units sold or projected to be sold in California and outside of California. • Total annual sales or projected annual sales (in dollars) of products developed under the Agreement. • Investment dollars/follow-on private funding as a result of Energy Commission funding. • Patent numbers and applications, along with dates and brief descriptions.  Additional Information for Product Demonstrations: • Outcome of demonstrations and status of technology. • Number of similar installations. • Jobs created/retained as a result of the Agreement.

  • Observations The Evaluator’s first observation of the Educator should take place by November 15. Observations required by the Educator Plan should be completed by May 15th. The Evaluator may conduct additional observations after this date. The Evaluator is not required nor expected to review all the indicators in a rubric during an observation.

  • Pre-Observation Conference The pre-observation conference shall be held for the purpose of setting instructional goal strategies. The purpose of the pre-observation conference shall be but not limited to discussing the employee's goals, and to discuss such matters as the professional activities to be observed, their content, objectives, strategies, and possible observable evidence to meet the scoring criteria.
