Period of Traineeship. Traineeships may be offered on a full or part-time basis. Anyone who is between 15-64 years of age could be engaged on a traineeship. Full-time the maximum period is one year with a probation period up to one month. Part-time the maximum period is equivalent to one year full time with a probation period up to one month. Part-time traineeships have to be for a minimum of 20 hours per week (except in the case of School based traineeships). School based the minimum requirements are: • nominal duration of 12 to 24 months dependant on the program and the student; • hours of paid employment and training per week must be eight hours or more; • where training is off-the-job the minimum of eight hours of employment must be maintained; • off-the-job training must be undertaken by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO); • a Training Agreement and Training Program Outline must be completed and registered with the Western Australian Department of Training and Employment. Period of Traineeship. A Trainee shall be engaged as a full-time or a part-time employee for the nominal duration period as set down by the relevant State or Territory Training Authority. By agreement in writing, and with the consent of the relevant State or Territory Training Authority, the Company and the Trainee, may vary the duration of the Traineeship and the extent of approved training, provided that any Agreement variance is in accordance with the relevant Traineeship Scheme.

  • Period of Enrolment 6.1 The enrolment of the student, once approved by the Principal of the School, commences in the Entry Year and continues until the completion of last year at the School or until the Student's enrolment is otherwise withdrawn or terminated.

  • Employment of trained personnel The Concessionaire shall ensure that the personnel engaged by it in the performance of its obligations under this Agreement are at all times properly trained for their respective functions.

  • Period of Services Unless otherwise stated herein, the Consultant will begin work after receipt of a properly executed copy of this Agreement. This Agreement assumes conditions permitting continuous and orderly progress through completion of the services. Times for performance shall be extended as necessary for delays or suspensions due to circumstances that the Consultant does not control. If such delay or suspension extends for more than six months, Consultant’s compensation shall be renegotiated.

  • Period of Leave (a) The period of leave will be for 12 months, from 1 January to 31 December.

  • Trainee is an individual who is a signatory to a training agreement registered with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority and is involved in paid work and structured training which may be on or off the job. Trainee does not include an individual who already has the competencies to which the traineeship is directed.

  • Payment for period of leave (a) Payment to an Employee in respect of long service leave shall be made in one of the following ways:

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein. The term of this Contract (“Term”) shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on the first to occur of the following: (1) the Deadline, as the same may have been extended by the Authority, (2) the date on which, in the opinion of Authority, all of the Services have been rendered, (3) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Authority pursuant to Section 14, or (4) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Consultant pursuant to Section 14.

  • Breaks 16.1 Two separate ten-minute tea breaks (in addition to meal breaks) shall be allowed each employee on duty during each ordinary shift of 7.6 hours or more; where less than 7.6 ordinary hours are worked employees shall be allowed one 10-minute tea break in each four-hour period. Subject to agreement between the employer and the employee, the two ten-minute tea breaks may alternatively be taken as one 20-minute tea break, or by one ten-minute tea break with the employee allowed to proceed off duty ten minutes before the completion of the normal shift finishing time. Such tea break(s) shall count as working time.

  • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority. If there is a change in their workweek, employees will be given written notification by the appointing authority or their designee.
