Permitting Assistance. CONSULTANT will attend a pre-application meeting with each agency (Lake County Office of Planning and Zoning, SWFWMD, and USACE) in preparation of permit submittal and review. Unless otherwise agreed upon, meetings will be scheduled at the offices of Lake County Office of Planning and Zoning, the USACE, and SWFWMD. It is assumed the client will help to facilitate the scheduling of the Lake County development review pre-application meeting and we have assumed this will provide a simplified path for Lake County approval (if such approval is required). If not provided by the associated agency, the CONSULTANT will prepare and provide meeting summary notes. CONSULTANT will prepare a permit application package for each agency to include application forms, project narrative with associated maps, figures, and design plans. The packages will be provided to the client for review and comment. Following the review and necessary edits, CONSULTANT will submit the packages to the agencies for regulatory review. At the agency’s request, CONSULTANT will attend one site meeting with each agency. CONSULTANT will respond to one request for additional information (RAI) from each agency to clarify the information submitted in the application package. Requests for minor modifications to the project plans are included in this task. The following is a list of the assumed permits required, based on implementation of Phase II: Lake County: Pre-Submittal Application and Development Application – Development Approval exemption is assumed due to the nature of the project as a County environmental improvements project. The Lake County Office of Planning and Zoning assesses a standard application fee of $659, however it is anticipated this fee will be waived as Lake County will be the applicant. However, the project may qualify for an Environmental Restoration Permit. USACE: Application for a Department of Army Permit (for Nationwide Permit - No fee). D eliverables: Attend regulatory meetings, provide meeting summaries, prepare and submit pre- permit, permit applications and the associated permit fees and respond to agency requests for additional information (if applicable).
