Planning and Design. The Department shall prepare the environmental and/or planning document, and obtain any environmental permits needed to construct the Project, and prepare the Project plans and specifications needed to construct the Project. All work shall be done in accordance with departmental standards, specifications, policies and procedures.
Planning and Design. Upon SFPUC’s receipt of all required documentation set forth in the chart below, the SFPUC will disburse up to $XXX solely for planning and design (pre-construction) activities. Approval of funding for planning and design activities for the Project does not constitute a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) Guidelines section 15378.

Early in Year 4, the ReLEI Director carried out numerous trips to work with the UVG/ReLEI team and meet with potential founding member organizations who will join ReLEI in its initial phase. During early 2018, the UVG Xxxxxx will officially invite local education experts with experience in education policy, research, and project implementation to the ReLEI Advisory Committee. This group will provide strategic guidance and feedback to XxXXX’x overall direction, and sustainability plan beyond the life of the LRCP. ReLEI personnel will, in early 2018, refine and finalize the theoretical framework for ReLEI, as well as the organizational model and information on founding members in participating counties and the rationale for each. By the end of March the team anticipates having established agreements with these founding members. The ReLEI team will also have regular meetings for planning and discussion with USAID. Additionally, during the same week as the LRCP partners meeting in Guatemala in March of 2018, the ReLEI team and LRCP core team will have a workshop together to ensure that ReLEI technical planning and work is informed by LRCP work to date, and similarly, that LRCP complements the work of ReLEI. While this is an ongoing process that started in Year 3, this will be the first chance for the full ReLEI team and full LRCP core team to discuss in person and in detail.

Planning and Design. (a) The terms of the PE Agreement, as amended from time to time, govern UPRR’s review of the design and construction plans for the Project. In the event of a conflict between the terms of the PE Agreement and the terms of this Agreement, the terms of this Agreement will govern.
(b) CHSRA will design and construct (except as otherwise expressly provided herein), and obtain all required permits or other governmental approvals required for, all Mutual Interest Improvements. All Mutual Interest Improvements will be planned, designed and constructed at CHSRA’s sole cost and expense. CHSRA intends to use a design/build contract for the Project.

(f) CHSRA will provide UPRR with a copy of those preliminary engineering documents for the Project (the “Preliminary Engineering Documents”), which documents were provided to the CHSRA Design Build Contractor. UPRR will provide CHSRA with approval of, or written review comments on, the Preliminary Engineering Documents within forty-five (45) days of receipt, including any time before execution of this Agreement or within five (5) days of execution if more than forty-five (45) days pass between such receipt and execution. If UPRR does not approve the Preliminary Engineering Documents, UPRR and CHSRA will meet promptly to discuss and resolve any review comments and endeavor in good faith to make any changes necessary to secure UPRR’s approval within forty-five (45) days of the completion of such discussions.
