PROBATIONARY/TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. Probationary and Temporary employees’ seniority shall be determined based on the accumulated hours worked. The Employer shall post a list on a quarterly basis showing the seniority standing and the number of hours worked by each probationary and/or temporary employee.

PROBATIONARY/TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES. All new or rehired employees shall be probationary until their 90th calendar day of employment at which time they acquire seniority status. During the probation pe- riod, a probationary employee may be discharged by the Employer without chal- lenge. An employee’s seniority shall accrue during the probationary period. Employ- ees rehired within 12 months will not be subject to a probationary period. It is understood that the Employer may hire temporary employees, but no temporary employee shall be employed more than four (4) months in a twelve (12) month pe- riod.

In addition to the base rate Auto Club Sales Service Agents will receive payment of for the following transactions: New associate membership New plus membership New recreational vehicle coverage Sale or file change to automatic renewal order Car reservation order Hotel reservation New day trip medical New annual medical Annual medical up Traveller’s cheque Any Boutique product valued higher than International drivers permit Process booking of group The top ten sellers of all Auto Club Sales Service Agents for Mid-Western Ontario calculated by totaling the number of payable transactions will receive a bonus each half year based on the following chart: POSITION BONUS Appendix The top ten sellers of all Auto Club Sales Service Agents for Mid-Western measured for quality service over a six month period will receive a bonus. The amount payable is for each of the individuals. PROBATIONARY TEMPORARY Probationary and Temporary Employees will be paid per hour.   • Probationary Employees Employees with permanent status will not be separated from state service through a layoff action without first being offered positions they have the skills and abilities to perform within their current job classification within the layoff unit currently held by probationary employees. Probationary employees will be separated from employment before permanent employees.

  • Temporary Employees 3.3.1 A temporary employee is an employee who is hired for short-term work assignment which is not ongoing (i.e. normally 12 months or less and not extending beyond 24 months). The employee's benefits and working conditions are as per Article 34 (Temporary Employees).

  • Temporary Employee Temporary employee" means an employee who is appointed with a definite ending date. A temporary employee's term of employment may not exceed a total of 12 months in any 24-month period in any one agency.

  • Temporary Employment (a) A temporary employee is an employee employed to work full-time or part-time for a specified maximum period of time which is not normally to exceed 12 months or to undertake a specific project. An employee may be employed as a temporary employee in the following circumstances:

  • Probationary Employee The term "probationary employee" as used in this Agreement refers to a full-time bargaining unit employee who has received a probationary appointment and is serving a period of probation.

  • Probationary Teachers Nothing contained in this Article 23 shall be interpreted as limiting the Board’s right to non-renew the teaching contract of a probationary teacher who is on family/sick leave.

  • Probationary Employment 4.2.1(a) An employer may initially engage a full-time or part-time employee for a period of probationary employment for the purpose of determining the employee's suitability for ongoing employment. The employee must be advised in advance that the employment is probationary and of the duration of the probation which can be up to but not exceed three months.

  • Part-Time and Temporary Employees 16.1. A part-time employee is one who is hired to work regularly twenty-four (24) hours per week or less. Except as expressly provided in the circumstances described in Article 16 (3) hereunder, a temporary employee is one employed for a special project or a specified time, in either case, not to exceed three (3) months except by mutual agreement, or in the case of students, the academic vacation period, or for a specified leave of absence. The Employer shall notify the employee and the CAW of the nature and anticipated duration of all temporary employment.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Temporary and Casual Employees The provisions of this Article do not apply to Casual Employees, and Temporary Employees who have been hired in a position of less than six (6) months.
