Promotional Board. 30.04.01.01 This Article shall be administered by a Promotional Board which shall consist of:
Promotional Board. A Promotional Board shall consist of a Deputy Fire Chief, the Chief of Training, a Platoon Chief and one other Chief Officer within the Association, shall be appointed by the Fire Chief. It will review qualifying material, current performance, appraisal(s) and conduct interviews.

Promotional Board. A Promotional Board comprised of an Officer of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary designated by the Chief of Police, an individual designated by the Association, and an official to act as Chairperson designated by the Newfoundland and Labrador Public Service Commission shall be formed as required.

"Not Qualified" candidates will be notified by Administration and shall be entitled to an interview with the Deputy Chief within five (5) days from the date of notification, upon request. PROMOTION TO ASSISTANT DEPUTY CHIEF Eligibility for promotion into that rank shall be restricted to those employees presently holding the rank of Platoon Chief for a period of no less than two (2) years. A Promotional Board consisting of the Chief and Deputy Chief will promote based on an interview process. not promoted will be notified by Administration and shall be entitled to an with the Deputy Chief within five (5) days from the date of notification, upon request.
Promotional Board. The Assistant Deputy Chief shall be a member of all Promotional Boards as directed by the Chief Promotional Recommendation Board, to be composed and convened as directed by the Chief.

The PBOR will process promotions from Acting Captain through to Platoon Chief. This Board will consist of: Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, and two (2) Platoon Chiefs. The PBFR will process promotions from Fourth Class Fire Fighter through to First Class Fire Fighter.
