PROMOTIONAL TRANSFERS. It is the intention of the Employer and the Union to encourage the policy of promotion from within. Toward that end the Employer will maintain a promotional transfer system as defined herein. The purpose and intent of the promotional transfer system is to provide opportunities for upgrading of individuals to better utilize their skills through transfers to other positions within the bargaining unit usually to a different functional category or work category. It is generally not intended to apply to lateral (intra work category) transfers between departments unless such transfer is intended to result in a promotional opportunity to a defined position within six (6) months of the transfer date. Upon completion of their probationary period employees who wish to seek a promotional transfer must complete and submit an electronic application on the Company’s Website for a specific position posted in the Company’s internal job listing by the posting end date. In cases of transfer within the bargaining unit the senior qualified employee shall have preference over other employees within the bargaining unit provided they possess the necessary qualifications to perform the work in the job title where the opening occurs.

PROMOTIONAL TRANSFERS. For promotional transfers, the calculation of hours will not apply. Neither the Town nor the firefighter will owe any balanced hours. Every effort will be made to reduce overtime costs. If a mutual agreement to balance hours between the two firefighters cannot be reached, then the Chief will assign the extra shifts to the firefighter with less than a 42-hour average. The Chief’s decision will be final.
PROMOTIONAL TRANSFERS. Employees who transfer to new position shall be required to undergo a new probationary period in the position into which transferred.
PROMOTIONAL TRANSFERS. Promotional transfers within the bargaining unit shall be made on the basis of District Seniority after lateral transfers have occurred, providing the employee has the qualifications, skills and physical abilities to perform the job as determined by the Employer or their designated representatives. Such employee shall be given a fifteen (15) workday trial period in which to demonstrate ability, qualifications, and physical fitness to perform the job. If said employee does not demonstrate the above, he/she shall be placed back into the position which they vacated. During the trial period, the employer may leave the vacated position unfilled; however, should the employer determine during the trial period that the successful candidate has qualified, the employer will post the vacated position before the conclusion of the trial period.
PROMOTIONAL TRANSFERS. Transfers due to promotional testing for both Lieutenant and Battalion Chief lists shall be conducted based on the District’s need. If the testing process falls during a Mass Shift transfer year, transfers shall be done then. If one of the testing processes falls in between the Mass Shift Transfer year, the District will meet with the Union to discuss the need and relevance of the shift moves. The transfers shall follow the same dates and procedures set forth in section 23.4-A of Mass Shift Transfers.

All Cutoff Times referenced in this Agreement reflect the times displayed on Bank’s internal system clocks and may not necessarily be synchronized with the internal clock displayed on your computer. For this reason, Xxxx suggests that you transmit any instructions to Bank sufficiently in advance of such Cutoff Times to eliminate the possibility of missing the Cutoff Time. All outgoing transfers are assumed to be Next Day. Money being transferred is taken out of the Bank Transfer From account on the Business Day that the transfer is requested, assuming all funds are available. Transfers between deposit accounts held by Bank and an External Account that Bank receives by the Cutoff Time on any Business Day will begin processing on the same day. Transfers to an External Account will be deducted from your Transfer From account held by Bank on the Transfer On date and will usually be reflected in your External Account on the next Business Day. However, the receiving bank’s processing policies and guidelines still apply and may not allow for same day availability. Transfers from External Accounts are subject to the processing times of the financial institution holding your External Account. Instructions for transfers from External Accounts that Bank receives by the Cutoff Time on any Business Day will be sent to the holder of your External Account on the same day for processing. Transfer instructions relating to External Accounts and the transmission and issuance of data related to such instructions shall be received pursuant to the terms of this Agreement and the rules of the National Automated Clearing House Association ("NACHA") and the applicable automated clearing house ("Regional ACH") (collectively, the "Rules") and you and Bank agree to be bound by such Rules as in effect from time to time. In accordance with such Rules, any credit to your deposit account held by Bank or your External Account shall be provisional until such credit has been finally settled by Bank or the third party institution which holds your External Account, as the case may be. You acknowledge that you have received notice of this requirement and of the fact that if Bank does not receive final settlement for a transfer for any reason, Bank shall charge back the amount of such transfer to the Transfer To or Transfer From account (as applicable) or any other of your accounts or claim a refund from you.

  • Internal Transfers Transfers from one customer identification number to a different customer identification number will be One Dollar and Fifty Cents ($1.50) per account transferred.
