Protective Devices and Safety Equipment. Where the nature of the work or working conditions so require, Employees will be supplied, at Company expense, all necessary protective devices (excluding Uniform), which will be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at Company expense. Costs due to loss or damage due to negligence shall be borne by the Employee. Employees are required to use these items where necessary. Failure to do so is a disciplinable offence.

Protective Devices and Safety Equipment. Where the nature of the work or working conditions so require, Employees be supplied, at Company expense, all necessary protective devices (excluding uniform), which will be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at Company expense. Costs due to loss or damage due to negligence shall be borne by the Employee. Employees are required to use these items where necessary. Failure to do so is a disciplinable offence. Where safety footwear is a requirement of the Company or is legislated, the Employee shall be entitled to an annual safety footwear allowance of five ($85.00) dollars to be paid upon hire and upon the annual pay increase. Wearing the safety will be a condition of employment. “Ear-Muff‘ type noise suppressors will be made available at work locations where necessary. Costs due to loss or damage due to negligence shall be borne by the Employee. Employees who fail to use noise suppressors will be subject to discipline. May -May Hazardous Material The Company shall inform Employees of any hazardous material which they be required to handle and of any special handling requirements for such material.   • UNIFORMS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT 21.1: The City will make a good faith effort to maintain police vehicles and safety equipment in proper working order. Police vehicles operated by the City shall comply with the standards and requirements of applicable State Statutes governing motor vehicle safety equipment.

  • Safety Equipment Should the employment duties of an employee in the bargaining unit require use of any equipment or gear to insure the safety of the employee or others, the District agrees to furnish such equipment or gear.

  • Protective Devices Protective devices, wearing apparel, and other equipment necessary to protect employees from injury shall be provided by the County in accordance with practices now prevailing or as such practices may be improved from time to time by the County.

  • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. All employees of Engineer shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County. Engineer certifies that it presently has adequate qualified personnel in its employment for performance of the Engineering Services required under this Contract, or will obtain such personnel from sources other than County. Engineer may not change the Project Manager without prior written consent of County.

  • Services, Materials, and Equipment Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall provide and assume full responsibility for all services, materials, equipment, labor, transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, heat, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities, and all other facilities, incidentals, and services necessary for the construction, performance, testing, start-up, inspection and completion of the Work.

  • Customer Equipment Customer represents and warrants that it owns or has the legal right and authority, and will continue to own or maintain the legal right and authority during the term of this Agreement, to place and use the Customer Equipment as contemplated by this Agreement. Customer further represents and warrants that its placement, arrangement, and use of the Customer Equipment in the Internet Data Centers complies with the Customer Equipment Manufacturer's environmental and other specifications.
