PTO/Non-Prime Time. PTO may be requested and may be granted at any time. Once PTO has been requested or granted, any change to the request will be considered a withdrawal of the earlier request and submission of a new request for the revised dates. Nurses who want to make plans well in advance may submit a written request for PTO during non-prime time twelve (12) weeks in advance of the posting of the schedule. In the case of conflicting requests by nurses, the requests will be considered on the basis of number of requests by date of time off*, nurses with accrued Vacation Time to cover the time requested off (special consideration will be given to nurses who are at the maximum Vacation Time accrual or close to the maximum), mutual consent to change dates between the nurse and Department Director/Manager and finally bargaining unit seniority. PTO/Non-Prime Time. PTO during non-­‐prime time will be granted on a first come first served basis if submitted on the same day then by seniority. Employees will present written requests for PTO as far in advance as is possible, but not less than two (2) weeks before the work schedule is posted. Employees will be notified in writing within two (2) weeks after the request is submitted as to whether the PTO is approved.

No more than three (3) consecutive weeks of PTO may be granted during non- prime time, however, four (4) consecutive weeks of PTO may be granted if there are no other requests and staffing permits. *Note: A nurse denied numerous requests for PTO will have priority over a nurse with numerous approved requests. “Numerous requests” shall be defined as two (2) or more requests that were denied when submitted within the contract time lines or submittal periods. If the request is submitted outside the guidelines, the request would not count for purposes of this understanding.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • Vacation and Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to vacation and paid time off in accordance with the standard policies of the Company for executives as in effect from time to time.

  • DNS update time Refers to the time measured from the reception of an EPP confirmation to a transform command on a domain name, until the name servers of the parent domain name answer “DNS queries” with data consistent with the change made. This only applies for changes to DNS information.

  • Daylight Saving Time The changing of Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time, or vice versa, shall not result in Employees being paid more or less than their normal scheduled daily hours. The hour difference shall be split between the Employees completing their shift and those commencing their shift.

  • Wash-Up Time 37.01 Where the Employer determines there is a clear-cut need, wash-up time, to a maximum of ten (10) minutes immediately before the end of a work period, will be permitted.

  • Leave Time During the Employment Period, Employee shall be entitled to paid vacation and leave days each calendar year in accordance with the leave policies established by Employer from time to time. Any leave time not used during each fiscal year of Employer may be carried over into the next year to the extent permitted by Employer policy.

  • RDDS update time Refers to the time measured from the reception of an EPP confirmation to a transform command on a domain name, host or contact, up until the servers of the RDDS services reflect the changes made.

  • Hourly Rate Divisor The hourly rate for the purposes of the calculation of overtime is the weekly all-purpose rate contained in Clause 7 Wages, divided by 36.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.
