Public Outreach Plan. AECOM will prepare, within the first month of receiving Notice to Proceed (NTP), an Outreach Strategy and Engagement Strategy that establishes overall goals, messaging themes, meeting and community event schedules and formats, identifies stakeholders, outlines content for input activities, describes staffing and notification responsibilities. We will maintain the Outreach Strategy as a flexible, working document with periodic review of goals and results to refine outreach approaches.
Public Outreach Plan. Consultant team shall be responsible for generating a public outreach plan consisting of schedule, messaging strategies, identification of key stakeholder groups, key decisions that require consensus among stakeholders, critical items for public comment, and an overall strategy for the SSMP to be reviewed and adopted by City Council. The purpose of the Public Outreach Plan shall be to provide guidelines to be considered and implemented to make ensure the City conveys timely, accurate, and clear information to all stakeholders throughout the master planning process. This plan shall include strategies and tactics to inform internal and external stakeholders, understand the purpose and need of the SSMP, have the opportunity to provide comment where it can inform the planning process, and ultimately, to help make sure the SSMP is adopted by City Council. The Plan shall include content such as key messages, stakeholder identification, schedule, critical decision points in the process that require stakeholder feedback and methods to obtain feedback, and other relevant content.
Public Outreach Plan. In accordance with SB 1355/HB 2786, Dominion will: • Make this Transportation Plan available for public review. Dominion will include this Transportation Plan with other CCR documents on its website. • Publish a notice of the Transportation Plan in the predominant local newspaper (i.e. Chesterfield Observer, Village News and Henrico Citizen) to ensure access via multiple modes of communication. • Provide notice of the availability of the completed Transportation Plan to state and local authorities, in conjunction with public outreach efforts, prior to commencement of Project activities. Public Outreach Plan. The Consultant will develop a Public Outreach Plan, using the City’s outreach plan template, that identifies key stakeholders, outreach methods, timelines, and outreach strategies. The Public Outreach Plan will include project key messages to be carried out in all project communications. The Consultant shall finalize the Public Outreach Plan based on City and team comments. The plan will be updated twice, at the 90% milestone of each phase. The Public Outreach Plan shall be completed one (1) month following NTP.
Public Outreach Plan. The Grantee will work closely with The Partnership to develop and implement an effective education and outreach campaign in support of the Grantee’s curbside recycling program utilizing the approach outlined in Section o, Educational Best Practices, of Attachment A. Technical support will be provided by The Partnership as set out in this Grant Agreement. The Grantee will partner closely with The Partnership to maximize the educational efforts and materials developed during this campaign. This educational effort will focus on educating residents about how to recycle with carts and will also work to ensure that residents are informed of what is acceptable and not acceptable in the recycling carts. A heavy emphasis of this campaign will be related to how to prepare materials for recycling collection and ensuring residents know their recycling collection schedule and service day. The educational effort will target all curbside recycling households, multi-family properties, and non- residential customers in the Grantee’s service jurisdiction and will at a minimum utilize the following supporting tools: • Direct to resident “Carts are Coming” informational mailers for all curbside households; • A packet of information about recycling to be delivered with the cart to all residents that receive a recycling cart; and • The implementation of anti-contamination strategies, as needed, to reinforce correct recycling behavior. In addition, and as agreed by the Parties, outreach efforts may be expanded to include one or more of the following outreach elements: • Public activation event to drive citizen engagement in recycling; • Social media boosting; • Paid advertisements; and/or • Other strategies determined effective by the Parties.
Public Outreach Plan. The Public Outreach Plan shall consist, at minimum, of the following: o Schedule. o Messaging strategies. o Identification of key stakeholder groups. o Critical decisions that require consensus among stakeholders. o Critical items for public review and comment. o Overall strategy for the SSMP to be reviewed and adopted by City Council. • Public Outreach Content. Content as described in the Public Outreach Plan, including but not limited to website content, infographics, and any other material identified in the Public Outreach Plan.
Public Outreach Plan. Outreach and education will primarily be provided on the in-unit recycling separation bag itself. This information will include images and descriptions of what is recyclable in Alachua County and limited information about common contaminates to avoid placing in recycling containers. Additional outreach and education will be offered to the participating multifamily complexes by Alachua County staff. The specifics of this will vary based on the desires and capabilities of the individual multifamily complex and the current pandemic situation. Examples of anticipated additional outreach and education efforts include printed educational materials, in-person recycling presentations to tenants, in-unit recycling guide magnets. An FAQ on how to participate and an information card are the desired minimum educational collateral pieces to be utilized and TRP will design those pieces if desired.
Public Outreach Plan. A public outreach plan (the “Public Outreach Plan”) must include, but is not limited to: Overall Public Outreach Plan goals and objectives; Target audiences and associated issues; Development of identified communications and outreach materials in culturally appropriate ways, and in appropriate languages; Formulation of key messages that will be carried through the project; Key outreach strategies and tactics in support of stated goals and objectives; A plan for conducting public outreach and engagement, including all strategies, tactics, methods, and resources necessary to properly execute the plan; Public Outreach Plan execution schedule; and Key metrics identified to measure success. Collaboration with Agency and other CBOs, as identified by Agency, for input and development of the Public Outreach Plan. The Public Outreach Plan may also include, but is not limited to: Distribution of materials to identified partners, community organizations, print and electronic media, and other partners or combination of these as identified in the Public Outreach Plan; Distribution of materials and execution of the Public Outreach Plan through identified means, including written, verbal, and electronic means or combination of these; and Partnering with subcontractors, community organizations, and other partners, or combination of these.
Public Outreach Plan. Building off the stakeholder discussion from the kick-off meeting, the Consultant will develop a Public Outreach Plan that outlines goals for who, when, why, and how the public and stakeholders will be engaged. The plan will reference milestones in the Project Schedule and will outline stakeholder engagement responsibilities and expectations for both the Consultant and City staff. The plan will be submitted for review and approval by the City. Once approved, the Public Outreach Plan will serve as primary outline for collaborative community engagement throughout the duration of the Project.
