Quality of Work and Materials. All Work shall be performed in a good and workmanlike manner and in accordance with good construction practices. All materials used in the construction of the Development shall be of first class quality. The quality of the Finish Work shall meet or exceed First Class Casino Complex Standards.

Quality of Work and Materials. 1. All products and materials shall be new and free from defects in material or workmanship. 2. All removed media from City’s OCUs shall not be disposed without prior review and approval of the City Representative. 3. A Certificate of Analysis sheet of the measured performance parameters for each lot of new media shall accompany each lot delivered to the jobsite. If a random sample fails to meet the specifications, the Contractor shall have the option of removing the lot of media from the site within forty-eight (48) hours of notification or retesting another random sample within seventy-two (72) hours utilizing an approved independent certified laboratory. If the retest indicates that the media does not meet the required performance specifications, the Contractor shall remove the media from the jobsite and replace with acceptable material. All costs associated with transportation, disposal, and replacement of OCU and OSP/SEP COGEN/GAS CONDITIONING media shall be borne by the Contractor. 4. Contractor’s Qualifications for COGEN GAS CONDITIONING SYSTEM MEDIA AND SERVICES: Equipment service and maintenance furnished under this Section shall be performed by a single vendor who has been regularly engaged in the servicing and maintenance of cogeneration gas handling, conditioning, and treatment equipment for at least 10 years and for which such equipment have been operating satisfactorily. Contractor shall provide upon request a list of qualifying experience. Failure to comply with the required experience may deem a contractor non- responsive.

The paper to be used for printing shall be book paper of 50 pound weight and fully equal in quality (subject to the approval of the Reporter) to that used in the two volumes specified above, a sample of which will be exhibited by the Reporter to the Publisher. The type face for text shall be Century Schoolbook with 11 point type on 12 point leading; footnotes shall be Century Schoolbook with 8 point type on 9 point leading. The books are to be uniform in internal appearance and relatively uniform in external size and appearance; that is, to the extent practicable, they shall contain between 975 and 1025 pages. Each line of type shall measure 28.5 picas in length, and each page shall be 47 picas deep. Except as specified herein, each page shall follow the general style of the two volumes specified above as to printing, and over-all dimensions. Each buckram book purchased by the State shall have the state seal and the following stamped on the front cover:

Quality of Work and Materials. If PTC's Representative considers, acting reasonably, that the quality of any work or material in respect to the PTC Infrastructure Works is not in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement: (a) PTC's Representative may instruct the Developer to remove or re-execute or replace that work or material or to make good any defect; and (b) the Developer must carry out any instruction without the right to any extension of time or any compensation unless the Developer establishes that the work originally carried out has been executed in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement, in which case the cost of re-executing or replacing that work will be borne by PTC. 11. PTC SAFETY AWARENESS 11.1 SAFETY AWARENESS TRAINING COURSE (a) Except as otherwise provided in this CLAUSE 11, the Developer and any of its employees, agents, consultants or Subcontractors involved in work on or beside railway property (SITE PERSONNEL) must complete a Safety Awareness Training Course (THE COURSE) presented by PTC at the Developer's expense, before commencing any work within 6 metres of the centre line of any railway track or overhead facility in accordance with the Safeworking Instructions as amended from time to time.

All manufactured articles, materials and equipment shall be of new manufacture and shall be applied, installed, connected, erected, used, cleaned and conditioned in accordance with the manufacturer’s written or printed directions and instructions unless otherwise indicated in the Contract Documents.
