RECLASSIFICATION OF DRIVER/ENGINEER POSITION. The COLA and Step Plan are suspended until further notice. Effective the beginning of the first full pay period of fiscal year 2005/2006 (and after the COLA adjustment has been made to employees’ base pay and to the pay plan in general) the position of Driver/Engineer will be reclassified from a Pay Grade F13 to F14 (56 hour) and from Pay Grade F43 to F44 (40 hour). The difference between Pay Grades F13 and F14 (and) F43 and F44, respectively shall be 5.0% each. Therefore, at the time of implementation, current Driver/Engineers will be moved into the new Pay Grades at the same step they are in effective the last pay period of fiscal year 2004/2005, which will result in each affected employee receiving a 5.0% raise in addition to the COLA . (Example current rate $15.72 x 3040 = 47788.80 divided by 2080 = $22.97 per hour) The methodology for temporary assignments from 56 to 40 hour is as follows: 56 hour rate times 2912 divided by 2080 is the rate for temporary assignments. (Example temporary i.e. Light Duty, Transitional Duty, Workers’ Compensation, assignment for Lieutenants is as follows: current rate $15.72 x 2912 = 44776.64 divided by 2080 = $22.01 per hour) This Article XVIII of the Collective Bargaining Agreement is amended to provide that bargaining unit employees will not receive a COLA or step increase during the 2009- 2010 fiscal year. In the event that the Board of County Commissioners, in their sole discretion, determines that the County’s financial situation will permit reactivation of the Step Plan prior to October 1, 2010, the County will meet with the Union to negotiate reactivation of the Step Plan.

  • Reclassification If any reclassification of the capital stock of the Company shall be effected in such a way that holders of Common Stock shall be entitled to receive stock, securities, or other assets or property, then, as a condition of such reclassification, lawful and adequate provisions shall be made whereby the Holder hereof shall thereafter have the right to purchase and receive (in lieu of the shares of the Common Stock immediately theretofore purchasable and receivable upon the exercise of the rights represented hereby) such shares of stock, securities or other assets or property as may be issued or payable with respect to or in exchange for a number of outstanding shares of such Common Stock equal to the number of shares of such Common Stock immediately theretofore purchasable and receivable upon the exercise of the rights represented hereby. In any reclassification described above, appropriate provision shall be made with respect to the rights and interests of the Holder of this Warrant to the end that the provisions hereof (including, without limitation, provisions for adjustments of the Exercise Price and of the number of shares purchasable and receivable upon the exercise of this Warrant) shall thereafter be applicable, as nearly as may be, in relation to any shares of stock, securities or assets thereafter deliverable upon the exercise hereof.

  • CHANGE IN CLASSIFICATION SPECIFICATIONS Section 1. The Employer shall notify the Union of intended classification studies.

  • CLASSIFICATION OF POSITIONS The University shall classify and/or reclassify all positions in the bargaining unit according to the nature and difficulty of duties assigned to and performed by the employee based on a current and accurate job description and shall assign to each position in the bargaining unit a classification title, number, and salary range. An employee new to his/her position will receive a copy of his/her job description upon hire. The appropriate administrator/supervisor will review the description with the employee. Materials used in determining classifications and reclassifications, such as class specifications and reclassification interpretation manuals, shall be readily available to the Union and employees on request.
