Aged Care. The number of older people in Australia will grow significantly in the next 30 years, resulting in a substantial increase in people needing different types of aged care. This will have significant impacts on the number of people necessary to deliver that care and the required size of the aged care workforce. It is well established that the quality of care and support is linked to the quality of jobs for workers. Not only do there need to be enough workers, but those workers need to be suitably skilled and enabled to do their jobs well. It highlights that the quality of care and the quality of jobs in aged care are inextricably linked, pointing to the need for g...
