Reinstated Employees. A reinstated employee shall be paid at a salary rate within the approved salary range for the position in which he/she is reinstated.
Reinstated Employees. If a discharged employee is reinstated by an 41 Arbitrator pursuant to this contract, and would have been laid off 42 during the period of separation but for the discharge, the employee 43 shall be credited with only the seniority he/she would have accrued, 44 but for the discharge, up to the effective date of layoff, and the fifteen 45 (l5) day notification period shall be waived in such circumstances. 46
Reinstated Employees. 45 A member of the unit who leaves Rochester Police Department employment, 46 and who is subsequently reappointed to the department in accordance with Civil 47 Service Law, shall have his/her seniority calculated from the original date of 48 appointment, less the time that the member was not an employee of the Rochester 49 Police Department. The member shall receive his/her seniority based upon original 50 date of appointment, and adjusted for time not employed by the Department, after 51 one year of continuous service from the date of reappointment. 52
Reinstated Employees. If, as a result of the Grievance or Arbitration procedure, an employee dismissed by the Company is reinstated with reimbursements, the following shall apply:
A. Any reimbursement whether partial or total, which may be granted to the employee for time lost will be computed on basic pay or average earnings, if applicable, less the amount of termination pay received from the Company, and any amount paid to or receivable by the employee as wages in any other employment, and any amount paid to or receivable by the employee as unemployment benefits under any present or future law.
B. Unless otherwise agreed to by the parties, in the event of such reinstatement, the period of continuous service shall be considered for all purposes as if the dismissal had not occurred and as if the employee had remained on the payroll.
Reinstated Employees. Reinstatement Within One (1) Year: Employees who are reinstated pursuant to 6 Civil Service Rules within one (1) calendar year of the date they left County service shall, upon 7 reinstatement, be compensated at Step 1 of their respective pay range. Upon successful completion 8 of six (6) months actual service after reinstatement, they shall be compensated at the equivalent of the 10 addition of the current service.
Reinstated Employees. Employees granted reinstatement within a period of twenty-four (24) months following resignation shall be considered as a new employee for purposes of annual leave unless the reinstatement follows layoff from a budgeted position.
Reinstated Employees. 6 A. Reinstatement Within One Year: Employees who are reinstated pursuant to 7 Civil Service Rules within one calendar year of the date they left County service shall, upon 8 reinstatement, be compensated at Step 1 of their respective pay range. Upon successful completion 9 of six (6) months actual service after reinstatement, they shall be compensated at the equivalent of the 10 same salary step that they were on when they left service plus any step advancement due for the 11 addition of the current service.
12 B. Reinstatement Within Two Years: Employees who are reinstated pursuant to 13 Civil Service Rules within two (2) calendar years but after one (1) calendar year shall, upon 14 reinstatement, be compensated at Step 1 of their respective pay range. Upon successful completion 15 of twelve (12) months actual service after reinstatement, (or six (6) months for job classifications for 16 which employees receive a step increase after six (6) months of service) they shall be compensated at 17 the equivalent of the same salary step that they were on when they left service plus any step 18 advancement due for the addition of the current service.
19 C. In order to receive credit for prior service under this Section, employees must 20 receive an overall rating of “Meets Standards” or better on all performance evaluations during the six 21 (6) month or one (1) year period respectively.
Reinstated Employees. Employees reinstated, as the result of an administrative or judicial action must contact the Employer’s Insurance & Benefits Office within thirty-one (31) days of reinstatement to arrange for health care benefits if there was participation prior to cancellation of benefits. Documentation authorizing the reinstatement must be provided to the Employer’s Insurance & Benefits Office at the time of enrollment.
Reinstated Employees. An employee shall be paid at a pay rate within the approved pay range for the position in which he/she is reinstated, but not at a rate in excess of the employee's pay at the time of resignation or leave of absence, generally at former pay modified by any general adjustment in the pay level of City Employees.
