Casual employees registered for casual work shall notify the Employer one (1) month in advance of the dates and times which they will be available to work in the upcoming month. The Employer shall be obligated to call a casual employee only for those days on which the employee is available. Casual employees registered for casual work shall notify the Employer of the times of unavailability due to sickness or vacation, bereavement leave, family illness, or for any other purpose. Casual employees who are successful in competition for a regular position shall be subject to a probationary period as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
