Safety Codes. Grantee shall comply with all federal, State and City safety requirements, rules, regulations, laws and practices, and employ all necessary devices as required by Applicable Law during construction, operation and repair of its Cable System. By way of illustration and not limitation, Grantee shall comply with the National Electric Code, National Electrical Safety Code and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards.

Safety Codes. 257 The purpose of these safety rules is to protect the employees as they work and ensure that they work safely. By following these rules, they should avoid injury to themselves or fellow employees. Names of those providing these services shall be furnished to EMPLOYER prior to start of construction and their telephone numbers shall be prominently posted in CONTRACTOR's field office. 111.3 All critical industrial injuries shall be reported promptly to EMPLOYER, and a copy of CONTRACTOR's report covering each personal injury requiring the attention of a physician shall be furnished to the EMPLOYER. 111.4 Smoking within the battery area, tank farm or dock limits is strictly prohibited. Violators of the no smoking rules shall be discharged immediately. 112.1 CONTRACTOR shall erect and maintain barricades required in connection with his operation to guard or protect:- a) Excavations b) Hoisting Areas. c) Areas adjudged hazardous by XXXXXXXXXX's or EMPLOYER's inspectors. d) EMPLOYER's existing property subject to damage by XXXXXXXXXX's Operations. e) Rail Road unloading spots.

Safety Codes. ‌ All electrical work shall be executed in a safe and proper manner, consistent with the requirements of the State of Alaska Electrical Safety Code and the National Electrical Safety Code. A copy of the National Electrical Code and the National Electrical Safety Code shall be available at least in the Utility's administrative offices.

  • Safety Rules 5.01 The safety rules of the State having jurisdiction shall be observed by the parties hereto. It is recognized that the Employer has the exclusive responsibility for providing a safe and healthful workplace. To assist the Employer in maintaining an effective and continuing safety program, a permanent Joint Safety Committee shall be established, consisting of two (2) members from the Union and two (2) members from the Employers, who shall meet at regular times to administer educational instructions, investigate serious accidents, and to draft appropriate safety rules.
