Salaries of New Employees. In determining the rank and salary to be offered to new Employees the following are to be taken into account by the Employer: academic credentials, years of full- time University teaching, research and other experience relevant to the appointment, market conditions and current salaries paid at St. Xxxxxx University. Salaries of new appointees will, as a consequence, be adjusted by the amount under Article 18. 02.1 (using appointment salary as a base) in those cases in which contract negotiations for salary adjustments for the year of appointment have not been completed by the time that a salary offer is made to a new Employee. Such rank and salary, once accepted, shall not be subject to grievance.

Salaries of New Employees. SECTION 1 All new personnel who joins the Company after the effective date of this Collective Bargaining Agreement shall start with the type of salary per hour that applies to the occupational group of the position to which they belong according to the following scale: RATE PER HOUR AS OF THE OCCUPATIONAL SIGNATURE OF THE GROUP AGREEMENT ------------ ----------------------- 1-3 $ 5.25 4 $ 5.25 5 $ 5.50 6 $ 5.75 7 $ 6.00 8 $ 6.50 9 $ 6.75 10 $ 7.00 11 $ 7.50 In addition, it is stipulated that the salaries for new employees established herein, shall be maintained at a level of ten cents ($0.10) per hour over the minimum salary applicable to each level. The employees who join after the signature of this Collective Bargaining Agreement shall be entitled to the raises granted during the first, second and third anniversary, as long as they are regular employees on the date when these raises are granted.

  • CATEGORIES OF EMPLOYEES The following categories of employees may apply for benefits under this policy: Category 1: Employees who have acquired eighty-five KPERS retirement points (a combination of age and KPERS service that adds to 85) and who have completed by June 30 of the retirement year fifteen (15) years of service in USD 434 that could include service given through the employment of the Three Lakes Cooperative. Category 2: Employee who qualifies for retirement under the basic provisions of KPERS.   • Notification of New Employer In the event that I leave the employ of the Company, I hereby consent to the notification of my new employer of my rights and obligations under this Agreement.

  • All Employees The Company shall not include the shift differential in any employee’s wage rate for the calculation of overtime.

  • New Employees The Employer agrees to acquaint new Employees with the fact that a Union Agreement is in effect.

  • Term Employees 9.1.2.1 A term employee is entitled to all employee benefits under Article 9 unless otherwise specified.

  • Replacement Employees (a) A replacement employee is an employee specifically engaged or temporarily promoted or transferred, as a result of an employee proceeding on parental leave. (b) Before an employer engages a replacement employee the employer must inform that person of the temporary nature of the employment and of the rights of the employee who is being replaced.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date. Qualifying shifts are defined as a shift which involves at least 2 hours work performed outside the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm, excluding overtime.   • Fixed Term Employees The only terms of this Agreement that apply to employees who are not regular employees are those that are set out in Articles 31A, 32, 33 and 34. 31A.1 Articles 31A.2 to 31A.16 apply only to fixed-term employees other than seasonal, student and GO Temp employees.

  • Certain Employee Payments The Company is not a party to any employment agreement which could result in the payment to any current, former or future director or employee of the Company of any money or other property or rights or accelerate or provide any other rights or benefits to any such employee or director as a result of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, whether or not (i) such payment, acceleration or provision would constitute a “parachute payment” (within the meaning of Section 280G of the Code), or (ii) some other subsequent action or event would be required to cause such payment, acceleration or provision to be triggered.
