Saturday/Sunday Work. 11.4.1 Staff Assigned to School Sites: When employees are required to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays on non-District related events, they shall be compensated at the rate of double their regular hourly rate of pay. Employees shall be notified at time of assignment whether the work is for a District or non-District related event.

Saturday/Sunday Work. The Wire Drawer or Spare Operator when working overtime on weekends may load his own machine with rod by forklift truck when two (2) or less machines are operating.

However, when a continuous seven (7) day Spare Operator is on shift and not substituting for a missing employee, he will load the rod for the wire draw machine. The continuous Spare Operator and Wire Drawing Operator may load the xxx xxxxx for up to four (4) wire drawing machines on the weekend. For five (5) or more machines working a five (5) day, a Forklift Operator is required on overtime.
Saturday/Sunday Work worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the appropriate rate except where such overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the day previous.
Saturday/Sunday Work a) Employees who have agreed to work ordinary hours on Saturday, shall be paid at the rate of time and one quarter for actual time worked. Provided that, where the hours worked on Saturday exceed 38 per week or 40 hours (depending on an employees ordinary weekly hours), the excess hours will be paid at the rate of double time.
b) Employee directed to work on a Saturday and/or a Sunday shall be paid at the rate of double time for actual hours worked.
c) Employees may elect to take time off in lieu of payment for overtime. The amount of time off will be based on the equivalent penalties under (a) and (b) above.
