Seasonal and Part-Time Employees. Seasonal and part-time employees shall accumulate seniority on the basis of time worked by the employee.

Seasonal and Part-Time Employees. Seasonal and part-time members shall have a nominal salary assigned to them at the time they are hired. Nominal salary is defined as the salary a seasonal or part-time member would have received had the position been twelve-months full-time. Actual salary for seasonal and part-time members shall be the nominal salary for the position, prorated to reflect normally scheduled hours and/or months for the position. Any salary increases (i.e. step or scale increases) shall be applied to the member’s nominal salary.
Seasonal and Part-Time Employees. Employees terminating employment or employed on a seasonal basis, or a part-time basis who work less than twenty-six (26) hours per week as defined in Article 14.03, shall receive vacation pay proportionate to that received by employees with regular continuous service. Payment for the vacation entitlement shall be on a bi-weekly basis and will not be eligible for scheduled vacation days. Based on annual earnings:
Seasonal and Part-Time Employees. For purposes of this Agreement, seasonal employees shall be defined as an employee hired for any number of hours of work per week, but whose total employment period will not exceed six (6) consecutive calendar months. Part-time employees shall be defined as employees who are regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) hours or less per calendar week.

Seasonal and Part-Time Employees. Vacation credit not taken by a seasonal or a part-time employee at December 31st of each year, shall be paid before January 31st of the subsequent year. Regular Employees Regular employees shall be entitled to carry over to the following year up to a maximum of one (1) week of annual vacation. The banked vacation shall be taken Page 26 on or before March 31st of the following year. The banked vacation shall be paid at the rate it was earned by the employee.

  • Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked. The entitlement will be calculated on the annual leave anniversary date.   • TIME EMPLOYEES 61.01 Definition Part-time employee means an employee whose weekly scheduled hours of work on average are less than those established in Article 24 (Hours of Work) but not less than those prescribed in the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act.

  • Employee Access to Personnel File An employee shall have the right to read and review his/her personnel file on reasonable notice and by written request to the Human Resources Manager. An employee may request and shall receive a copy of any record or document contained in the employee’s personnel file.
